Elder Bednar's talk on 'Being Still' was the most impactful to me. I was anxiously (and I mean super anxiously) awaiting an answer to prayer, and that message to 'Be Still' really helped bring comfort.
It was a special conference. So maybe incredible messages.
But then they capped it off with the first temple here in Iowa! We are beyond grateful.
Such a good conference! I spoke on Easter in my ward and felt the need to bring up garments and their connection to Christ. As that sister spoke about garments, my mind was blown because it was as if she copied a portion of MY talk verbatim. I guess it's something we're all supposed to be thinking about more.
And my overarching themes from conference were covenants, and a secondary theme of prayer. Really fascinating to me.
It was nice to hear what stood out to you guys. I really loved Elder Oak's talk. He is such a powerful speaker!

Was this the first time that members of the twelve conducted and not just the first presidency? I always love to listen to elder Holland. He speaks with such personal love and power.
The talk of Elder Carpenter was a confirmation for me.
I loved how there seemed to be two overarching themes between most of the talks Temple covenants and God’s assistance when we are struggling and suffering. I definitely needed to hear both of those messages.
Fantastic analysis as always. The dichotomy between receiving pillars and receiving rays is something I've been thinking about quite a bit and needed those words to finally understand. This is exactly what I was supposed to hear today!

I am a member of the church. Baptized, endowed and a current temple recommend. Yet I feel aloof from the church. I am treated rather meanly by members because of my past. Almost like they have the right to pass judgement on me. Ive had my Bishops Counsel meeting. I went through the repentance process but was allowed to keep my baptism. Mostly because I had an excellent Bishop. I'm bullied and harassed by members. But I'm not leaving. I KNOW the church is true. The people seem to not understand the atonement. I have no doubt I have the atonement. To bad members think they can take it away.
I am so sorry for your experience. No one should be bullied.
I loved all of conference, but most of all I love that we are getting a temple in Yuma, Arizona. I shouted with joy when President Nelson said that. We have to drive 3 hours each way to go to one of the temples in Phoenix.

I got the "Sploosh" reference!! (I'm from France)....I felt like Captain America getting the reference for once hahaha.

There was no talk with the word Sploosh, it was just a reference of the talk about preserving fruits/peaches, which then they made a reference from the movie Holes, when they are eating/drinking peaches from the upsidedown boat in the desert.... anyway...long story short...there was no Sploosh in any talk, they just said it in this video.

Great video! This is the annual conference, the semi annual is in Oct. I believe it is the annual conference because April is when the first conference was held so many years ago. I think there are scriptures related to having conferences more often. I wish I had my scriptures handy I am look for an cite them. Anyway, maybe an idea for another video. My conference moment that I wanted to share was the point, I am embarrassed to say that I do not remember who said it or when, but the point was made to "Protect your privacy" That meant a lot on account that I know that myself, children, and others spend a lot of time alone with their phones. With so many things at our finger tips both virtuous and not so much it is important to protect that time with and guard it from those things that would do us harm spiritually. We were watching that session with my sons, at least watching it at the same time, we were not all physically together, but I immediately texted my sons that quote to them. Also the message about words and how words matter. That resonated with me as a father, husband and as a teacher professionally it is important to chose words wisely. Thank you for your videos.

Curious why the 'prophets, seers, and revelators' have gone so many decades w/o any prophecy to point to, Noone has used any seer powers to peer over something and/or reveal anything?
Expected trumpets/prophesying and declarations surrounding buying Kirtland temple.

The coming out of the home based church supported gospel “Come Follow Me” program a year before Covid hit, the prophecy that the Lord would accelerate His work (Which He has: # of missionaries, # of new converts, # of new temples all up) and the prophet also saying that that the “greatest manifestations of the Lord’s power would be seen“ between when that statement was made and the second coming which I would include the things I said in the second point as well as the Kirtland temple purchase and many exciting yet to be seen things
5000 years of history in the Bible, and only a small handful of prophecies exist. The giant miracles are, perspectively, within our lives.
Prophesy doesn't just refer to foretelling the future.
I fell asleep during Comference as usual. Boring. Nothing new ever happens.
It's almost like we need to do better with what's already been given to us
