Totally agree. I would have Sac and Houston for sure and then Toronto, Philly and Nashville. That would give you 6 teams when you include the Bay Area team and it gets you to18 teams. Detroit still concerns me as a market, I need to see more before adding them back.

A lot of these girls with big followings coming from out of college will get cut next draft and won’t make the team because we can’t push out all the vets still taking up roster spots….. ex. Destanni Henderson drafted then cut before regular season six of the top 24 draft picks from 2023. Just 15 of 36 draftees appeared on opening day rosters.
With all eyes on WCBB and the talent coming out they should’ve had more teams already ready to have more roster spots for these ladies. All the older players aren’t retiring anytime soon so a lot of the new talent never makes the team due to no roster spots. TIGHTEN UP COMMISH.
U just can't throw extra teams out there without a financial plan...once they get the new media deal?more corporate sponsors?then you can AFFORD to expand

Secondly my city (philly) has been wanting to purchase a team for quite a while now. Part owner of the sixers explained why it’s going to be difficult to own a team for anyone with the commish strict rules. She doesn’t want investment groups she wants one individual person. It’s like why people don’t franchise Chic-fil-a because in the contract the “owner” has to run the store and can’t franchise any other fast food business.
Why don't you reopen the defunct teams like the Houston Comets, Detroit Shock, Sacramento Monarchs also.
