Like A Version is a segment on Australian radio station triple j. Every week a musician or band comes into the studio to play one of their own songs and cover a song they love. Since 2004, many artists have participated, including Childish Gambino, Lorde, CHVRCHES, Tame Impala, Tash Sultana, HAIM, Gang of Youths, Halsey, DMA'S, Aurora, Arctic Monkeys. This is just incredible. Man... where do I begin? Of course it’s the most awesome song of 2021 for sure. The band sound great live & her vocals are just pure gold. Her delivery is so energetic & her enthusiasm is infectious. Those guys can't stop smiling because they know they've got the hottest song around & the singer to match.

@@jubeman yeah we were all playing/singing live. We have a beats track running through abbleton even in our live shows - enables us to work with some cool samples and have variety in our drum sounds so it's not all the same drummer on the same drum kit. We're inspired by a lot of trip-hop music that draws on electronic drums and drum samples in the same way hip hop music does. Keeps it more interesting in terms of mood/tone of the music IMO.
