- I LOVE how these two cake stands turned out Draped in silver, and diamond..One bigger, and one smaller. I can have them side by side, or stack them. I wanted something I could reuse for tea parties, or for perfume stands, cupcakes, or anything. They are so easy, and so girly!

Instead of using the string of silver beads you can get really fancy and use strings of jewels found at Michaels or JoAnns fabrics! Those jewels would make this project look very elegant and expensive!!! 💙💙💙

Maybe if you make one using one of the "tiny bowls" that come in a two pack...there candle holders too...if you add one upside down under the smaller cake stands burner cover, it would rise it just a little...then you could make another smaller one like the original in the video...then you could have three at different heights.....I hope that made sense?...Congratulations on your sons wedding...let me know how it turns out!

I don't know if you read your comments anymore since this is an old video. This video saved a baby shower I hosted last week! The person responsible for the cupcakes and stand backed out last minute and I didn't like any of the diy cake stands until I ran across your video!
