1:15 You can click 'x' on the right hand side to remove: 'A new version of Notepad is available.' Notepad appears to remember this and so you won't see it again ! 😀
I dont know how to thank you dude the windows 11 notepad is so bad because it crushes many time and has really bad optimization. I really appreciate your job man
It only works for right clicking text files and choosing open with. If you want to use the classic Notepad app and have a shortcut then check out this method. ruclips.net/video/m0qmEk4hOoA/видео.html
@@OnlineComputerTips I have found that that in the newest version of Notepad for Windows 11, in the "Settings" you can choose when Notepad opens, to "Start new session and discard unsaved changes" instead of "Continue previous session". So, the problems of numerous tabs and repeatedly prompting saving previous versions of files have been solved.
@@OnlineComputerTips It is not "strange reason". The truth was that the new Notepad had some serious bugs when used in some computers (though perhaps not yours). In my case, for one full year, the new Notepad just refused to close and kept on asking me if I wanted to save changes to files that I had not even touched for months, and to drives that were not there (presumably a flash drive was inserted some time ago but then removed). That had been the problem as many users pointed out, and that was why they objected so much to the tabs.
Thank you! I use some very large notepad files (glossaries) and the new notepad really lags when it tries to use them. I'm back in business now!

The new notepad may just freeze if you open a file that is too large
