Glad to see you back on RUclips. I also was born and raised in NY and just so happens, I worked for 2 years in a bagel bakery. We used the same ingredients (except it was a 100 pound sack of flour) and boil the bagels and cook them in a rotating oven.
@@BurkeMakesStuff I'm a mix depending on how I feel (Art, Food and Music all have their moments) so maybe a plain bagel, or something sugary like a cinnamon sugar bagel... Lox and cream cheese is good, but a bagel sandwich is better.

Chad, for the record, you’re awesome! NY water is the cleanest in the country, yes. My advice would be to experiment. Less mineralized water can’t be a bad thing, so if your tap doesn’t offer what you’re looking for, a gallon of Poland springs from the local grocery will surely produce a solid outcome!

I've done them with cinnamon and sugar before. Absolutely delicious!
