Their name is pronounced like v-CHA, emphasis on the cha. JYP auditioned them in America, then took them to Korea for official kpop training. This is their pre-debut song, so there will be more to come. They are all teenagers, the youngest is 13, and she has one of the best vocals and dance in the group. These girls were amateurs, a couple couldn't dance, a couple couldn't sing well. They have grown so much after training at JYP. I'm sure they will grow and improve even more now. 🌸💜🌸
*VCHA (pronounced vit-chaa)* which means to "point a light toward something/ to illuminate" in Korean. Thank You Luke for reacting to them. It was not a quick turnaround as it seems. The auditions, selection of a few to train in Korea and the final lineup was all done over the past year with J.Y. Park being hands on throughout the process. They started posting the survival series on RUclips not long ago to show us but all the members had been selected already and were polishing up their performance. In the MV what each girl is doing like ballet, painting, gymnastics etc.. those are those girls real life interests and hobbies. I love them, they were a grest surprise, I hope they do well. They've done the Korean music shows since the MV came out and seem to be getting a positive, warm welcome. ❤
To understand more about this group, watch the show A2K (it's on JYP's channel. 22 episodes). JYP traveled to the United States to pretty much have a competition of young talents. The girls you see here are the girls who made it as the final contestants. They're all armatures with potential. When they get selected, they're trained by the best of JYP's staff members to compete to get a spot to debut. This is their debut song as a group. They're all under 18, the youngest is Kaylee at 13 (The one in blue), and the oldest is Camila at 17 (Green).
VCHA is something similar for North-America that NiziU is for Japan and the creation was done with a very similar survial show (A2K Nizi Project). Interestingly they already performed this pre-debut track two times in Korean music shows (Music Bank, Show Music Core).
I definitely expected you to review VCHA's first music video. After all, you are trustworthy. VCHA, isn’t it so lovely? They are sure to receive a lot of attention and love from people all over the world !!!
It has an online A2K show... (American 2 Korea) by J.Y. Park and Republic Records, the contestant was chosen in the USA and traveled to Korea for the show. Ages 18 to 13.
They debuted through A2K (America to Korea), JYP's reality show in partnership with Republic Records to form a Global Girlgroup influenced by K-POP. and the MV makes reference to what they did before joining the reality show, one member was a ballet, another was a gymnast, another was a nursing student, etc.
Oh man I love your genuine reaction. You should watch A2K from episode 1 till the finale. You’re going to feel super proud of how much they’ve improved! 😊
Also Kaylee is like the maknae in the group she was twelve at the start of the reality show auditions. The older girls are very sweet with her. Watch A2K to get to know the girls. They are all awesome
jyp put them together in a survival show, they're american/canadian and trained as a kpop group would, but they're a 'global' group. they're aged between 13-17
Just to reassure you that the description you gave VCHA ("American girl group made in the style of kpop") was pretty much spot on, even by the fourth time you reiterated it during this reaction! :)
The year When movies like Inception, Shutter Island or Easy A came out. Kaylee just born. This truth is so crazy. and make me realized how old am i now lol
VCHA is a 6 member North American Girl group under JYP Entertainment and Republic Records Formed through to survival show A2K (America 2 Korea) with members ranging from 18 to 13 years old as I said it is a North American group with 5 American members and 1 Canadian member. Camila - is 18 and the oldest member from Canada she is seen in the the classroom and is the first to sing KG - is 16 and is the one with the guitar Kendall -is 17 she is seen painting Kaylee- is 13 and the maknae (the youngest member of the group) she is seen doing an audition Savanna- is 17 she is seen doing gymnastics as she has a background in it Lexus/Lexi- is 17 she is seen doing ballet as she has an background in it
So glad that korean kpop fans in korea are welcoming them, BUT I hope they have strong mentality and support each other. Because once a group enter a kpop world and have performance in korea the pressure will be strong. Korean fans are so strict when it comes to group that have no any korean member in it. And this global group based the audition in america..I hope they're doing well ❤❤❤
Korean hate korean member the most they just don't know non Korean member and if there are hate comments, they just hater and hater are always exist in every country.
oh they're received well. They're a group by JYP, one of the behemoth labels in Kpop. The members were decided by a survival show, which is one of the most known tropes in how several huge Kpop groups were made. If you want to know a "Kpop style" group in the West that most people were "upset" with, try checking out KAACHI. Compare their debut music video "Your Turn" with VCHA's Y.O.Universe (which is a predebut single btw, they're still coming out with their proper debut song and video). I want you to develop your own thoughts about it but imho , they're MASSIVELY different
There high schoolers youngest is 13 oldest is 17. Is like the same ages like HYBE entertainment New Jeans, YG entertainment Baby Monster they technically debuted because of the show. But still no MV. Come on YG.

theyre an american kpop girl group formed through the JYP survival show 'A2K/America2Korea', theyre all very young, the youngest (kaylee) was 12 when auditions for A2K started!! I'll give a little explanation on who each member is based off their jersey numbers in certain scenes. Also, their debut is confirmed to be January 26th 2024! 12: KG/Kiera Grace, 16 yrs. 08: Camila, 18 yrs 24: Kaylee, 14 yrs 18: Savanna, 17 04: Kendall, 17 22: Lexi/Lexus, 18 yrs (confirmed leader)
Hip-hop was originally sung in English by black people in the US. But now many countries around the world sing hip-hop in their own language. Recall that at first, hip-hop from other countries was criticized as not being hip-hop. Perhaps KPOP will also follow the same path. Good things are good that transcend countries and languages. The prefix 'K-' will have historical significance only.
V-CHA are non-Korean Girl Groups. V-Cha are all US Citizens with diverse races. VCHA were created by JYP and trained under JYP KPOP Training System emphasizing every detail in Sync Dancing and movements, Live Singing with Hyperactive difficult Dance.
Should try The Daily Life of the Immortal King ops they're pretty good for a chinese anime though the season 2 op isn't quite as good if it's without the opening video.
Check out KAACHI "Your Turn" since you're curious about a western group in the Kpop style...They're London-based and their music videos were filmed in London so you might recognize the backgrounds 😂
Day 63 of requesting a reaction to the following openings: Chivalry of a Failed Knight op Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress op Kiznaiver op You could make a multiple op reaction for this. Thank you!
Day 133 of recommending the Beyblade openings. There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out. I made playlists on my channel, so you don't need to search, cause in those compilations are a few off and not in the correct order. Thanks for checking out!
Global Group here with VCHA and they are American talents with English songs in Kpop system. Check out XG - Japanese super talents with English songs in Kpop sustenance too!
More like KidzBop … except Camilla, they don’t have choice but to go that way for now because everyone else are all underage … Americans would immediately cancel them immediately if a 13 -17 year old teens are sexualized
Not impressed. The only thing unique about them is that they are a multiethnic and multinational group by JYP. That's all. Otherwise, their talents are mediocre, at best.

Yes please react to more of these girls or even better their A2K journey if you can. Thanks.
They went from amateurs to what they are now within a 1year span. They grew so much in 1yr, they worked hard for it and it shows
Lexus is vcha leader. She trained as a ballerina and Savanna was trained gymnast.
Such beautiful hardworking girls, the full A2K show was great 💫
Twice’s a&r leader is in charge of VCHA, but VCHA is being managed by JYP USA division
I definitely expected you to review VCHA's first music video. After all, you are trustworthy.

Your thumbnail misleading. It looks xenophobic not to mention their other K-pop groups under this company, who convey the same message. ITZY
It’s not kpop, it’s kflop
Why would you say that??
