  • Hello Friends,
Learn how the water cycle works in this video, you learn about the steps of the water cycle, how the water cycle occurs. In this video you will find hydrological cycle explained step by step for kids.
The Sun heats up the water from oceans, lakes and rivers and water then water turning it into an invisible gas called water vapour .The changing of water into a gas is called as evaporation. It is the first step of water cycle.
You too can see water vapour at home. Just heat some water and as the water gets heated you will be able to see the water vapour rising up in the air its start cooling down and form tiny water droplets these water droplets come together to form clouds. The changing of water vapour into water droplets is called condensation.
When the clouds start getting heavy and cannot hold the water droplets anymore, they fall back to the earth in the form of rain, hail or snow. This process is called precipitation.
As its rain water get collected into oceans, lakes and rivers. This process is called collection.
It's even seeps throughout the soil and become ground water.
Thus water cycle is a continuously process of evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection.
