Good day and thank you for this Video. Should I install the Debugger on the affected machine? or will a different machine be able to read dmb files for another machine?
Im fairly decent with computer software and ive followed several tutorials just for the heck of it...but for some reason, my laptop simply will not create a dumpfile. which makes it impossible to figure out why it crashes. For the record, it crashes when playing Guild Wars 2. Other games run just fine, never a problem. Temperatures are good. Voltages are good. there are no bad sector's in any of the disks. Ram is good, Vram is good... Ive turned off everything non essential at startup and in the msconfig services. It continues to crash...but the darn thing wont make a minidump or any kind of log to help me figure out why it crashes.
in all your cleverness you forget to show where to find the dump file, us dumb people need all the steps, not just the ones you think are relevant ... thanks away

BSOD WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR BUGCHECK 124, new computer out the box. Exchanged and the replacement has the same thing.

do you have to run the WinDbg on the host which has the issue?
or is it okay to copy the dump file to any another pc and run the WinDbg?
no you just need the .DMP file, from the computer that had the issue.
