I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to talk with you and possibly get some questions answered like what your "statement of work" looks like with your customers and how you sell yourself/your work to your customers to really get them interested!

Love the content man ! Keep it up ! I have a question about pre and post treatment! What do you use ? I have 12.5 SH and am trying to figure out how to make a good driveway blend with surfactant and water! Hope to hear from you soon
What I personally use is a half and half mix of bleach and water with just a little soap but I do use 10.5% SH But I’m sure half and half will be fine if anything just add a little more water
Good Job Kyle Where did you get your Wash Skid? (found answer in another video: Southeast Softwash !!) Looks cool. Have you ever been questioned when you wash or rinse your SH mix about the runoff going in the street drains?

hey man great video . thinking about getting in the business , one question do you you pressure wash black top asphalt drive ways? if so same method as this ? or would u recommend just resealing it? thanks
Hi, Would like to see in videos how everyone post treat. They say they do it but don't show the application. You say you apply the same way as pre-treat. Is it a heavy spray like pre-treat then leave it? Or do you use a spray bottle (50 /50 mix) then apply a light even spray, then leave it? Again, would be nice to see in it in a step by step video and not left out. Still a great video and helpful tips. Thanks for the video

Does anyone know what is post - treatment does he mean you need to do the same as the pre-treatment but you leave the 2 percent Hs on the concrete and don’t rinse with water ??????
Yes, you do rinse off the post treatment. You don't leave chemical sit on anything, water is still vital to deactivate your chemicals. The post treatment is just to kill off any remaining mold residue and break down the stuff you missed, and clean up your lines whic surface cleaning.
@@jonl6083 correction: **I** don't wash off the post treatment. I'm not sure how big a difference it makes, or what chemicals other people are using. But I have always used plain SH and let the post-treatment dry on the concrete. In terms of chemistry, the Co2 in the air should acidify the residue and remove the chlorine, eventually converting the SH into sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). And everything will get wash off in the next rain anyway, personal preference I suppose
Sodium Hypochlorite = SH = Bleach. You can call it SH if you wish but it still means BLEACH. There are other bleaching agents, but the most common is sodium hypochlorite, so apart from very specific industrial applications, bleach and sodium hypochlorite are synonymous. The only other type of chlorine bleach you're likely to find is calcium hypochlorite, which is used in pools. It commonly leaves behind a powdery chemical residue. Some even see the residue as a benefit in helping to keep the driveway cleaner even longer. What is not addressed in this video is using a soap/surfactant as a part of your pretreatment program. Something like Elemonator, Simple Cherry, or an ammonia free dish soap will work just fine. SH isn't good at lifting up dirt by itself, and a soap will help it stick to surfaces much better as well. The average homeowner will not have the dedicated soft wash system setup referenced to in this video references. Instead you'll typically be using a separate pump sprayer. BE ALWAYS AWARE of local municipality regulations and fines regarding excess runoff into the sewer drain system. A possible post treatment is applying a concrete sealant.
why not? you do realize sh bleach does deteriorate and breaksdown naturally fairly quickly. Dirt is just that dirt. It''ll be okay, its not like he's using some crazy acidic mixture that eats concrete.
@@jonl6083 No, bleach doesnt eat concrete, (nor does it 'breakdown') it eats the ozone and causes cancer in humans. Just because something breaks down in nature doesnt mean its harmless. Glyphosate (Roundup) breaks down easily but also causes cancer. DDT breaks down easily but nearly destroyed the bald eagle population in the US. These chemicals also migrate through the groundwater and poison drinking water, as has happened in the area where I live.
@@fredsargent523 I never said it eats concrete, i said it breaksdown. And to further explain, bleach breaks down when it come in contact with oxygen, and water. It breaks down into salt oxygen and water, leaving you salt water. Sure you can leave it on there, just know your lifting up more debris.
Theres not 1 youtuber that has answered my question and i have asked a lot of different youtube channels. What are you guys doing with the water after you're done with the job? It's got toxic chemicals in it right... so where does that go???
Curious myself. From what I have read, at least in Florida, the water needs to stay on the property, so in that situation would have to be diluted enough to not damage grass. If it makes its way into a storm drain, you could face big EPA fines. I don't think it's regulated consistently. If the bleach stays on the property, rather than going directly into a waterway, it has time to dry out, break down, and turns into salt.
So what do you tell your customers that have these awful looking discolored driveways with 3,000 year old set-in stains? Is it true that even with a thorough cleaning that some driveways are just trash. Some stains won't come out and there is not a lot that you can do about it? OR can every stain be removed with the appropriate chemical? I ask because as I'm learning and experimenting, I pressure washed my father n law's driveway and I attempted to use Muriatic acid to remove stubborn stains. Needless to say, it didn't work. And by the way, that acid is horrible stuff even with gloves, goggles and a mask, you're not completely safe...NEVER again!
