ABOUT IRON MAIDEN:
Iron Maiden are an institution. Over the course of six decades they have come to embody a spirit of fearless creative independence, ferocious dedication to their fans, and a cheerful indifference to their critics that’s won them a following that spans every culture, generation, and time-zone. A story of gritty determination and courageous defiance of the naysayers, theirs has been an adventure like no other.
The band’s immense discography includes the studio albums ‘The Number Of The Beast’, ‘Piece Of Mind’, ‘Powerslave, ‘Somewhere In Time’, ‘Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son’, ‘Fear Of The Dark’, ‘The Final Frontier’ and ‘The Book Of Souls’ which have spawned many classic hits as ‘The Trooper’, ‘Wasted Years’, ‘Hallowed Be Thy Name’, ‘Wasting Love’, ‘Run To The Hills’, ‘Aces High’, ‘Rime Of The Ancient Mariner’ and ‘2 Minutes to Midnight’.

Me too 🤘🤘
This video is one of the important milestones in my life. During the eighties, I was listening to pop music. But one day I saw this video on TV, and my mind was simply blown away, I had never witnessed anything this epic before. Next day, I went to the music store and bought 7th Son on cassette tape, and this was the beginning of my amazing metal adventure. So as an aging 47 year old metalhead, I thank to Maiden with all my heart for introducing me to the amazing world of metal!
It sounds exactly my journey with Maiden, I'm 46
I'm 53. I was at tge Capital Center in 1984 for "Powerslave" It was AMAZING. I heard Rovelations and "The Number" before...which is why I was there. They just keep putting out songs that I dig. Conplex/fun/heavy/😊
There is a reason the sun never sets on Iron Maiden fans. Iron Maiden by far is one of the best bands I've seen live.
Maybe I'll have my chance to see them live.
The BEST for me, them and Slayer #2.
Esse áudio nunca foi ao vivo e sim trata-se de uma montagem.
Absolutely ❤ Saw them 5 years ago, and they didn't skip a beat!❤
i've seen them once and felt blessed! front row stockholm 2003!
Iron Maiden , the Gods of Heavy Metal
no the metal god is rob Halford
kkkkkkk halford never will sing like dickinson hahahaha!!!
but in bands maiden is better than judas
Gael González Of course
Ryan Troche one of the gods
I was there that day. My first ever festival. They were incredible.
@@afoolisharrangement tbf my dad was there, its not very hard its very big
1988 was my first time there, I still remember the two guys who got killed, I didn't go back til 1994.

Dave Murray’s solo @ 2:53 is my favourite guitar solo ever. It’s so out of left field, yet fits perfectly at the same time.
Yeah and I also love his leads on Powerslave ❤
Dave,always Dave 🎸🙄
45 years for the greatest band ever, IRON MAIDEN!!!
This is just incredible. These guys are NEVER just playing and singing; they're living that music and gig!! Up The Irons!!!
"The Clairvoyant"
Feel the sweat break on my brow
Is it me or is it shadows that are
Dancing on the walls.
Is this dream or is it now
Is this a vision or normality I see
Before my eyes.
I wonder why I wonder how
That it seems the powers getting stronger
Every day
I feel a strength an inner fire
But I'm scared I won't be able to control it anymore
There's a time to live and a time to die
When it's time to meet the maker
There's time to live but isn't it strange
That as soon as you're born you're dying.
Just by looking through your eyes
He could see the future penetrating right
In through your mind
See the truth and see your lies
But for all his power couldn't foresee his own demise
There's time to live and time to die
When it's time to meet the maker
There's time to live but isn't it strange
That as soon as you're born you're dying...
...and reborn again??
Live at Donington! the best Maiden show ever in england.
Absolutely spot on. What a show this was....
No other band compares to Iron Maiden in my mind, not even mega-popular bands like Guns N Roses and Metallica. Iron Maiden is the best!
Look, Iron Maiden is the best Heavy metal band while Guns and Roses is the best Hard Rock.
Esatto.....le loro armonie,tecniche,assoli e voce ....sono i re......
Correct. They don't compare. Metallica competes, though. And Guns N Roses is nowhere near both the Maiden and Metallica.
@@vdLeo-je6os Oh, Guns and Roses being the best Hard Rock band.....even better than the early Deep Purple, before a certain David Coverdale came along to screw DP up? LOL. And better than the Sabbath, and AC/DC?
Probably, not.
Exactly you're right
Nothing compares to the magnificence of Maiden
i was amongst those kids running in, my first Maiden gig, was such an historic event, 110,000 people
7th Son is the best Iron Maiden album ever. Up the Irons!
Me and my pal were there ...both 18yrs old. Our family were past themselves knowing two poor souls had lost their lives. Luckily we made it. We got swept up in the GnR crowd but moved out. It was a good day but my heart is with the family of the two that didn't get home. I think about it to this day. I have my programme and ticket framed...two lads doing just what me and my mate were doing. Enjoying a great day. Thinking of you both. Rest in peace brothers.
Same mate. RIP
Steve Harris is just the sickest rock bass player alive next to Geddy Lee. How the man plays like he does the way he does is nothing short of amazing. The greatness of a Maiden song is how it jumps from slow to fast to slow to galloping speed once again. Maiden is the only band I've ever heard that does this and does it so well on a consistent basis.
Absolutely great band with great basslines and guitars i adore this group my all time favourite
BLoooDYSaBBaTH
Clive Burr had that 'galloping' sound unlike any other. Run to the Hills is just a perfect example of this sound that Nicko just never got like Clive.
S'pose you've noticed the galloping in Run To The Hills?
guibox3
partly agree but nicko has great gallops too ;) for me nicko is better
Perferct sense man! I agreed to it all!
I cannot describe how much Maiden means to me!
loved maiden since i was a kid.. now as an adult i have refound it into my life.. love this
Has to be my absolute favorite song of Iron Maiden's.

The Clairvoyant is definitely one of my Top 5 Maiden songs...I can't get enough of Steve's bass intro, with the blue lights shining on him in this video. It looks/sounds very iconic.😁😁😁
I FEEL REBORN AGAIN!! 😊
For me, Harris' relationship with his instrument is similar to Bach's relationship with the organ, that is: masterful and immortal. Maiden is deep, powerful and magical, simply. LOVE FOREVER 💕🤘
Back in the day I really loved going to iron maiden concerts. Not only is the production great but they play live so professionally it sounds like the records. British metal rules 🤘🇬🇧
The best maiden line up, the best album. Sounds amazing!
this concert was nothing short of a masterpiece
¡THE CLAIROYANT ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SONG OF iRON mAIDEN !
Have more sentense to live on lycris
I was there!!! Brilliant gig. The stage was massive. I've never seen sound rigs so wide. The year after it was in the Guinness book of records for the loudest gig ever. No wonder I've got tinnitus.
I was their 15 yrs old covered in chicken pots didn't care tho it was unforgettable
Jules B, there is a cure for that, did you know?
can I ask you a curiosity? since you were lucky enough to be there? how was their show and performance compared to other bands? including the Guns who were then the phenomenon of the moment?
What a Song.
"As soon as you're born, you're dying" It's summer 2024, who's still here? 🤘
Lol .. yessir!!! Been a Maiden fan since '90 my friend.
🇧🇷
Monster of rock 1988 Donnington race circuit, I was 17 years old and was there in the crowd more towards the back as the front was crazy, during the concert they stopped playing and Bruce made everyone take two steps back as the guys and gals at the front were getting pushed agaisnt the barriers, was an amazing concert and I will always remember it.
What a band!
Bless you Iron Maiden for lifting my spirits tonight! I can always count on you for that!! Rock on & on!
Epic, wonderful, majestic.
The best band of all time.
Up the irons !!!🤘
Up !!
Iron Maiden should be call "Human Patrimony" Iron Maiden deberia ser declarado "Patrimonio de la Humanidad"
Ciertamente brother!! Grande la doncella de hierro carajo!!
Toda la razón por grande Bruce leyenda
Yes, until seventh son..... ..from avete that album, they are better for patrimony of sadness..
the rime of the ancient mariner 7474 No, fuck off.
Totalmente de acuerdo!!!👏👏👏
I saw this Video in Headbangers Ball at i was 13. At this time i decided to go to Donington asap. Tried it 1991, but our car had a damage thru the Journey, so we missed AC/DC (my all time favourite Band). But 1 Year later we traveled all the way from Germany to Donington. 5 young Germans with 80.000 young british People and we all loved Maiden and the 'Support' Bands. What a Show of Skid Row, Slayer, WASP and Thunder. It was a Dream and it still is. I will never forget the Moshpit when Slayer starts with Hell Awaits. Dream came thru.
gracias iron maiden. por ser la mejor banda de heavy metal que el planeta a conocido.por no cambiar su estilo que a mi humilde opinion es unico eh irrepetible gracias.
As soon as you're born you're dying.
No truer words have ever been spoken.
The EPITOME of metal, NO doubt what so ever......nobody else even comes close....
One of my favor.! Seven son of the seventh is a killer album... Si señor.!
Iron Maiden the soundtrack of our lives
The real hero of this song, Nicko's amazing hi-hat work. Just brilliant.
Escucho a Iron Maiden desde 1983. Siempre le decía a mis amigos que era la mejor banda.
This is the studio track with some live audience sounds thrown in
It actually supposed to be a music video...
really?
+first2nd2002 Really? What was your first clue?
Read the descriptions say it's Original studio version ....
It must have been the audience sounds
I love the song, as I love Iron Maiden, brilliant music, dazzling lyrics and the Godgiven voice of Bruce....Theese guys are the best musicians out there, and their supremecy is clearly shown, in every note, every move.....downright stunning !!!
Every time I hear this song I feel Re-Born again....The music video is always a plus. My passion for rock n roll gets new life. I've had music running through my veins for 57 years .. I waiting on the next 57 years...
Best iron maiden song!
These guys is metal Gods.
My 1st show at 15 , Maiden and Helloween as the opening band ... I have seen countless concerts since then , the detail in which I remember everything about that day is scary . " Magical " is the word I find to describe what I witnessed that day .
1983-1992 was absolute domination by the irons !!!! Brilliant
Love how Maiden top Kiss & guns + roses on that poster..!
There's a time to live and a time to die, but Maiden will LIVE FOREVER! The gods of metal, the gods of all music. UP THE IRONS!!!
damn, that voice from 4:35-4:45,damn bruce, the best heavy metal voice ever
The Prophecy along with Hallowed be thy name & Infinite Dreams are my favourite IM numbers ..

De las mejores bandas de la historia, aun cuando dejen de tocar van a seguir sonando en la eternidad!!
In my personal view this is by far the best maiden concert mainly the double cd remaster is outstanding touring my personal favourite the seventh son
My favourite bass line 💙
there are no words to describe how much I like it

So good it should be illegal, that intro would grab you by the balls and won't let you go until you know you will be reborn again

A melhor banda de Heavy Metal do mundo... Long life Iro Maiden \,,/
Once, two or three years ago, when I was watching "Flight 666" at the moment of this performance, I cried with all my soul leaving space to the soul, too great to be just a band, you brings reflections and visions from another dimension, i think this song is totally perfect, it haves a composition that create just an awesome atmosphere, this song brought me strong emotions in my heart, it still does, well, I will never thank you enough, really heartful thanks Brothers from England, Donington '88, one of most iconic moments in Metal and for Music forever ❤

I was there that day, my third time at Donington, when I was 22 and to this day I still remember this as the best Monsters of Rock ever.
This was the first music video I saw from Iron Maiden, the moment I saw it I knew they were the real deal...that was some concert, epic!
Theese guys are so WILD, RAW , AND PUNCHY.....They blows you away, the amazing music, the solos, the riffs, the guitar phrasing combined with Bruces voice, ABSOLUTELY STUNNING....And as a bonus, a mindblowing lyrics....This is as good as it gets.........
Golden era Iron Maiden

*NINGUEM NUNCA VAI SUPERAR IRON MAIDEN SUPER BANDA METAL MELHOR DE TODAS*
Man that song. So hella powerful, I wish I was there
Come on people this video should have more views than that...This band is epic...Unbelievable vocals, and the guitar solo, pi am speechless!
Iron não é popular , nem tudo que é popular é bom ! Por isso eles são os melhores!
Whenever I listen, I go back a few times and try to focus on one instrument, then as a whole, including the vocals. This way, I hear the nuances and harmonies. To me, Iron Maiden will always be the most musically creative band. Like modern day Baroque, with the essential Bass.
Perfect and magical synergy ❤️🤘😉simply...
my favourite Maiden album & metal album ever
1:17 I absolutely love this part. Sounds like Thrash. But melodic.
