Hello Anthony Dodge, very very nice locomotive I do like the diesel sounds great. The blue looks a little of but still a very nice livery. Take care all the best to you and Joyce.
Hiya, Deano... yeah, I am quite happy with it. I will get used to the color and it fits the prototype close enough, but sitting next to it, the color is definitely not spot on to the real loco.
On camera it is coming across with more of a greenish tint. Live, it is pure blue... reminiscent of the BR Blue of the classic era in the UK. Thank you for stopping by and commenting! Just watching your latest as I type!
Hi Anthony, great looking 223, the color is a nice shade of blue even if its not exactly the same on the prototypical . Terrific diesel sounds and lighting functions. Superb runner, looks really good on the layout. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
yes the Roco has got some really good detail from what can be seen on camera. I have seen a Marklin version of this type of loco, but it is in the OBB Austrian state railways livery. It has a quite realistic diesel sound also.
The sound is very good, David. The last Märklin version I saw was from a start-up set, which came with two DoSto wagons. That was with the Arriva livery, too before Arriva cut them loose. I just have to get use to this color, although I have seen it in real life.
So far so good, if that was a UK model I'd be over the moon. Granted the criteria is somewhat at odds, if it's still in one piece and actually runs well.... It's a win win LOL.
Yes, Andy, it is indeed a win-win. The issue with a live first impression is ANY paucity in reaction is there for all to see (unless you re-film, but then it is not a first reaction). I ran it with Khian for an hour or so yesterday, and it is quite nice!
Hello, Clive. Thanks for checking in!!I need to get a measuring wagon and test them. It may be these are accurate and my others are off. Not a big deal, just speed them up more. I do not pay attention to the scale speed anyhow, but something for me to do some self-education with, for sure.
Awesome loco Anthony and sounds amazing
Thanks for sharing
Hello, Andy! Thanks for stopping by. I am pleased with it so far! Take care and greetings to you and the family! Cheers!
Like you said in time, we shall see how it performs ... time will tell . Nice diesel locomotive...1st impressions 👍 Darrell
Hello Darrell, thanks for watching. It definitely is nice right now.
Hi Anthony very nice loco I like the colour. Running smoothly and quietly and made your ramp easily. Wishing you many happy hours running. Regards Tom
Hello, Tom! It runs very smoothly and is very sharp. I just have to get used to the color! lol

Neat Locomotive. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Looks great in the dark blue livery. Makes the handrails etc. stand out. Nice one Anthony.
Hiya, Tim- yes, it looks great as it is... just not quite the right color of the prototype, but close enough and it is running great!
For the missing mirrors, Piko has them in folded position , where Roco offers them in both folded and extended positions.
Ahh, so they are mirrors. I will have to check my accessories packs to see if they have mirrors in there.
Nice Engine to add to your collection.Runs very well on your Railroad
Hello, Arthur! I hope you are well! Yes, ti is a sharp loco... I equate it to your ACELA Amtrak locos.
Great video.
Thanks, Jean
Fantastic loco and I don't think it's too blue. All the best Rick

Cool nice model...
Hello, Jim. It is definitely an upgrade over the Piko.

Hello, Paul, hope you are well. The new loco is sharp and running well- all one can ask for right now.
Nice locomotive. Sounds great
Hi Rick! It's definitely an upgrade over its predecessor.
Nice colour and a very nicely detailed loco.👍
Indeed it is!

Great looking engine.
Hello Dave! Yes, I do like it, and it is proving to be a great runner.
Very nice looking loco 👍🏻
I am happy with it and seems to run very well!
I dig the Variation in color. Locomotive!👍🫵✌️
It is cool, just an ADD thing with me that I want the train to be fully matching
good vid on the channel thanks lee
Glad you enjoyed it

Cool locomotive, dude I have a OBB version of the same locomotive no sound in it, but I still like it
Wow, I would like to see that. I have never seen a class 223 in anything but Alex livery and, I believe, a Hungarian version.
A very smart looking loco, runs sweet too, another excellent addition to your roster. All the best. Brian 🤘
Hello, Brian and thanks. I am enjoying it in the test runs with Khian!
Great sounds, maybe the cv need a tweak for speed matching

Lovely loco, I get the colour thing though totally I like things to match as well where possible!
Hi again, Christopher! Thanks for watching. It is a very sharp loco... the color is not that big a deal!
Do you also have the function of three white lights in front and back at the same time?
No, just opposite tail lights. White in front, red in back and vice-versa.
@@ModelTrainOutsider could you Programm that? It should be possible.
