Im not sure if you have anything specific planned for the animals homes but if you have the happy home paradice dlc on this island i think it would be really cool if the intereors were turned into indoor places like the club/ clemintimes home or even the shops in midtown! I absolutely love how your island is turning out and i hope the dream code is up soon to visit :D

Ej! I have an idea. Why not put foresty vibes on the outside of the slums? That way, you're still utilizing the space but with greenery, plants, and farm stuff ? I absolutely LOVE the build

I remember back in New Leaf one of the most popular codes were that curled up cats that were customized onto simple cushions to make it look like you had a pet cat in you house. if you have the room for one or two of them maybe you can spread some sleeping kitties around the island.
@5:20 I didn't know you didn't know. Your charecter can be in any room. Not just the side rooms. Your charecter must not move. Just like the olden days when some one would show up at your house unannounced, someone would whisper to the rest of the house "DON'T MOVE! UNCLE RUSSEL IS HERE!" and then everyone would turn off the lights and not make any movements or noise until "Uncle Russel" left (thinking no one was home).
So yeah. Just don't move when a villager knocks at your door.
I love this build so much! Also you could probably customize a pillow to look like a sleeping cat
i randomly decided to pick up my switch again yesterday and found this channel while looking around for building inspo. i absolutely love this island and how it's coming along so far! really gets my creative juices flowing even if our ideas aren't the same (am working on a pirate island myself)

I honesty think the Gyroids would give off the vibe of the robot people from stray, i dunno they do to me, expecially in the older AC games when you could talk to the Gyroids

hey, if you want them to sing a different song, set up a speaker of any kind in any spot on your island, and play one song. (don't use shuffle, then it won't work) they will now sing along to that song, regardless of where on the island they are

I like the idea of the wooden fish but maybe if it was a different colour? The brown on brown variant might work or the light brown on its own cushion?
Edit: I do love it. You're so creative, you use objects in combinations I would never think of.

I think adding some more green wheat fields on the levels might help it feel a bit more overgrown..also maybe some cube light behind for some diffused light?
I love how it's turning out but you should definitely use more vending machines they're scattered around the game and stuff and they would also add more lighting they could be a nice detail!
