I was just about to comment on your unboxing video, asking how you found it, but then came across your review video, so thanks for the update Paul. We're currently looking into a rear view camera for our new caravan as we've gone 8ft wide now. The Auto-Vox seems to be our favourite so far. Thanks again.
Thanks Paul, great initial and follow up review. Having decided now to go for the Auto-Vox 4 system, I’ve been trying to find a piece of facia board like the one you’ve adapted but without luck. Can you buy these separately somewhere or did it come off something?
Thanks glad it was helpful, the facia board was a left over from when ours were replaced on our house, you could try one of the diy stores or local window fitters for an off-cut. A couple of weeks ago our camera failed (blurred image) so I contacted Auto Vox support and within no time a new replacement camera was on its way to me. So if things do ever go wrong with their equipment its good to know their support is first class. Would love to see a photo when you get it installed, good luck.
Thanks for watching and your comment, I mentioned in the videos that when I sit in my seat none of the screens are in my line of sight and I can see the end of the bonnet with no issues so do not obscure my view, in fact the sun visor and rear view mirror are more of an obstruction, cheers 🙂

@@michaelm1753 Hiya I went onto a new build housing estate one evening and in a skip was an off-cut.
Thx for update help s in reverse on pitch depth ?
do you think that camera would stay up there after a trip throught the carwash? or lose the antenna?
If you were to put it on a car or van i think a car wash would damage it, not sure i could find a car wash to get my caravan through 😂
Good idea of caravanning reversing camera. But you have far too many screens in view for safety aspect.

@@pashonexploring You might be able too. But you still have far too many screens that cause distractions.
That’s your opinion. I disagree. Just because screens are there, the driver chooses whether to look at them or not. @@dafarmer21
