He knows exactly what he is doing and I could never be an agreement with this video because I love God so much. He is teaching people to boldly blame God and disrespect him. This is very Wicked This video and all he can say about the devil is devil's work, he spent the whole video disrespecting the most high but those of us with the Holy Spirit knows what he's really doing. He's trying to sell out and he has to come at the most high in order to climb the charts. But like you said in this video God is going to hold him to Every Idle Word an anyone who is in agreement with him if he doesn't repent.
I think that the concept and delivery in this song are powerful & thought provoking... my biggest problem with it is the criteria he uses to determine who is deserving of life & (far more disturbingly) who is not. It would seem that being an entertainer/celebrity makes one automatically virtuous in his eyes, while having different political beliefs/ideologies makes one unworthy of life on earth. I will not pretend that I haven't shared similar thoughts/doubts/resentment about who has died & who has been allowed to continue living... but rather than comparatively frivolous criteria, my wrath is reserved for those that have a far greater path to redemption if any at all (murderers, those that harm children, etc).
So my family is all Baptist on St Helena island. I never grew up in the church but I always respected it to an extent. I was used to seeing small churches that some were built slaces who were freed. I dont understand the Mega Churches but again I respect everyones religion though im not religious. I was military and deployed a few times amd seen some things noone should have to see so its hard me to understand why God couldnt stop it. Though im not religious I still read the bible and Koran for answers or questions for someone who can help explain some of it. Cant say I will ever fully believe but im open to it. Unfortunately right now I cant say that will happen with all the losses ive faced throughout my life.

I may be wrong, but I don't feel it started with him grieving for all these people. I'm thinking he lost someone or some people in his personal life that got him thinking. Then he related it to famous people that many people know and his thoughts on them.
I love your reactions but yes a lot of us don't go because the judgement i think its so dismissive of ones true feelings. It's not because of my sins at all, after all I can repent and be forgiven by God and ask for guidance in my pursuit to grow. Yet his followers think they are better then people who have sinned as if they haven't. I'm catholic I have a strong belief in God but I've never gone to church I don't think someone can dictate me and my relationship to god. I don't personally believe a man's or woman's prayer to God should ever be under scrutiny by his followers.
What if you know your a sinner but going to church you see people worse than you, living in false pretense, there was even a cast of a cult pastor making people willing give there lives as sacrifice an the fact is there isn't just one an sometimes you never who is an apostle of the epocalyse
