This is music of Love , We 60 s --70s folk know a shit load of it , its too bad the world is too self -obsessed to listen to it . Rock On BOB . . .n Liz .
When Bob smiles and engages personally with the musician he is doing a duet with, it makes me and all his fans smile also. Thank you so much for posting this priceless gem.
Damn, this made me cry. I’m a 71-year-old fart in the midst of the covid-19 crisis, witnessing the horror show of American politics and remembering when the leaders of my Lutheran church when I was a teenager recommended burning the records of Bob Dylan and Pete Seeger. My parents said they wanted to burn my copies of those records, and I told them, you just try that and see what happens. That was the end of that discussion. I left the church when I left home and never looked back. Well, I guess I’m looking back on that time now. Think how much more awful life would have been without Dylan in it.
Thank you for the story. 100% agree! You're not an old fart, you were older back then when your parents tried to burn your records. Youre younger than that now.
so happy it made you cry, it made me cry too and crave something more simple than these complex times we live in now. Regarding being an old fart, Bo would just tell you "Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now"
It's all about inspiration with him. He performs better when he's inspired, and by the time the third verse hits, you can hear it. After the security guy comes out to get her a second time and Dylan grabs her arm to keep her there, his voice sounds even stronger and passionate. Love it.
I have added a comment before, but watching this so many times since then makes me so happy that I want to add more. It's one of the best things on RUclips..........god bless that young lady, and well done bob for being a damn good sport.
When she threw her arms around him at the end....something we would all love to do just to say thankyou for everything...it brought a lump to my throat.....
One of the many Bob shows I saw at the Beacon was one of the most incredible I saw him do. At the end of the show, a woman throws her bra on stage. Bob Sees it, picks it up and shouts with no mic "I'm keeping this." It was hilarious.
This is truly great stuff. I like the way the security guy tries to pull her away but Bob drags her back. Nice touch from a well-known grumpy bugger. And good for the song, which is for everyone.
Justine is the name Suze Rotolo used to hide her identity when she went to Italy and left Bob crying. She went to art school there and that was the name on her school ID
Jinal Verma If you are the one responsible for the Dylan video of the woman walking on & surprising him on stage ..thank you so much! Bob's misunderstood by many .. and may be many things, but he's always been genuine & has never fed us any of the fake bullshit. In short he's the real deal .. more appropriate would be emphasis on "the" real deal..none other like him. Much appreciated!
RUclips will remove the clip if Bob Dylan is in the title Sony is crazy about musical performances and copyright issues, hence the title does not mention Bob
@@kelvinsmith6854 Isn't Sony out of the picture now? Do you think the title of the video could just add the word, 'fan on stage' to the existing title? thanks for the info.
I am watching this video on a regular base and each time it fills me with joy and it reminds me of many surprises I was witnessing during the 50+ concerts I saw. This one is the best. There is joy and love.
Bob this so special I watch it several times a day! The times they are a changing. She is a beautiful lady and you are a handsome man. I just a movie with you now❤️👅
This is a truly beautiful video..so human....Ive watched it so many times....l have loved Bob since my twenties I'm 75 know and still love him He his music and words have played a massive part in my life rock on Bob.x
She is really a fortunate woman. It brings tears to my eyes, my mother was born in Bern, too. I love you mom, anywhere you are. Thank you very much jinal.
@@invisiblefriendmrj be easy on the young buck…some don’t realize without YT…this video may have never seen the light of day except for maybe a select few
One of the many reasons I want to see him for the first time in Amsterdam, this November. Things are different in Europe, most of all, it's not America. But you can see how different it can be in Europe.
I have had the feeling for a long time that insomuch as people are often much the same everywhere, that still, Bob likes Europe & touring there more... just a feeling or what comes out in the shows he does there. I've not seen him anywhere but the US, but seen many shows done in UK or elsewhere...just an observation or a vibe I pick up. Always love to see Bob & Band wherever I see them!
LOVELY! Thanks so much for sharing this remarkable vid! As ultimospettacolo stated, quote: "This is not music. This is love". Jepp, pure LOVE right there...manifested by music! Again, thx for sharing 🙏🏼😊
this is why Bob Dylan deserves to be loved because his humanist side is extraordinary. We always love you Robert "Bob Dylan" Zimmerman, forever !!#⚘🌷🌻🌳🌿🌵🌴
Really nice! Can't help but thinking if this was America instead of Europe if this would have went down this way? Plus, state of the world now, could security really have let it? Nice to see Dylan allowing it. Funny how" the times have changed" and he doesn't much acknowledge his crowds anymore. It makes this time and place here all the more priceless.
Yes thanks for getting this up there again! Just great. Jina, you asked for suggestions - there used to be an amazing clip from mid 90s where lots of audience came on stage and gave him a kiss and he and the band just kept right on playing. Song was "A Friend of t.d.i.a.f.o.m", a Grateful Dead song. There is a version up but the sound is really terrible for some reason.
Simply, the genuine reaction of a real Artist. Actually the greatest Artist of our times.

Feels good to see Bob respond in such a positive way to a spontaneous situation, and the audience certainly appreciated it.
“Spontaneous”….her entrance was pre-arranged…Bob, more than likely, didn’t remember when she was going to come out…

Absolutely spot on. Bob thrives on the unexpected, and almost always rises to the challenge. He lives to perform.

What a memory, to say you got to sing with Bob Dylan.
Bob is a real gentleman. Met him in cleveland, ohio on July 17, 1991. Was very nice to me.
I was told by some the staff of Jones Beach Theater that "he bites." No one is allowed to go near him.
