Thanks for the idea... I had no idea I couldcmake my own silicone molds, but I have to agree with somebody else's comment... You should have put the bars of soap in first and then put the silicone in on top of it... It would have made the process a lot easier
You did this upside down and could've saved yourself a lot of cutting if you had glued the bars down to a non-porous surface, made a box to contain the liquid silicone rubber and then just poured the rubber into the mold to cover the bars. Let it cure, de-molded it and done. No trimming, cutting etc.
you probably dont care but if you're bored like me atm then you can watch pretty much all the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been binge watching with my brother for the last months =)
I am totally confused how you made the cavities in your mold . You showed the bottom part of the mold and then you let it set for 24 hours,, the next day you show the removing of the soap, what happen to the rest of the mold making with the cavities?
Day 1 she poured the base and let it set. Day 2 she took actual soap bars in the shape she wanted, weighed them down and poured silicone down between the bars to make the cavities. Day 5 she unmolded.
Your mold is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for all your efforts. You're clearly a patient gal. :-)
Pretty much exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to make and share this video.

yes! just find a good way to make the soap stick to the bottom so they don't float up ;)
Never seen it done like this. Nice
I subscribed after watching about one minute of the video. Thank you for posting

Truer than life itself. TKS.
... I think she made the mold to line the box, like most soap molds do...
Either way you will have to trim as some of the sylicone will seep under. I like doing it this way as I have more control of that.
What is the name of the catalyst used with the silicon for making the mold.
Very pleasant voice.
Can I make and attach new silicone to an older one ?
Where the soap came from? I never saw that part in the video
I thought the same thing. A bit disjointed
Thank you! I'm going to try to make this :)
I like the mold!
how did you protect your bars of soap?
what if we make this process upside down...?
That's really cool!
Thank you dear. It's brilliant. How well does it work? Molds are really expensive.
Are there any problems with mixing the second layer after the first layer has set up?
Please write the all ingredients to make moulds with there names by wt.
She mentions the ingredients.
You have to read instructions on products.

Very creative!!
Fantastic
What did you mixed with silicon please?
Listened to video again. OR read instructions when you decide to buy product.
What brand of silicone did you use?
Beautiful indeed and indeed beautiful!!!!!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💥🍻🍸🍷🍹🍺😎🆒
Good molds. Thank you.
Thanks that was beautiful
Maybe you still need to weigh so you have enough to make it
I will try this
Very nice mold. 😁
Very useful thank you
Thanks for sharing. Is this method safe and approved for chocolate and cakes?
WHERE CAN I FIND THE MATERIALS TO MAKE THE SILICONE MOLDS?
Thanks a lot ☺️
Missing some part of video after 24 inch...from where soap came here
You are indeed excellent what beauty. Please, what are the measurement for the silicon and small bottle content?
ogbonna martin uzoma it depends on the individual brand of silicone, but it is always stated on the packet exactly how much product to catalyst.
WoW!
OMG just my opinion but I think I’d rather buy a mold
What brand of silicone do you use? If you could give me a link or name I would appreciate it :)
some information would have been very useful. But no, nothing useful here. So sorry, I don't like saying anything negative but really disappointing.
How to make silicone mould?
Already do have a wooden mould....
😍
I like it.
Oh girl just put your soap on the tray and mold them your process should be upside down 😂😂😂
what you add to silicone
Its the Catalist that's needed to make the silicone set up
Kool I like
What a pain in the keister! Nope. I'll pass. There's a better way to do this.
Hehhee
The silicone that you removed from the mold can you reuse it?
Ship 758 of course not.
Actually you can, there is a RUclips video that describes how to recycle silicone molds to make new ones. It saves you 50% on making a new mold.
Rachelle Lang agreed, you can use it for bulk, to reduce amount of fresh silicone product needed.
Not explained very well at all.
The sound is so distracting 😔
There is a part of the moldmaking missing, the lady speaks as if she lives on an ocean bottom, sorry, it' s not a good tut.
nice try
please translate into Arabic.
Not explained very well at all some more information would have been very useful.
YOU NOT EXPLAIN NOTHING, HOW WE SUPPOSE TO LEARN???
