I agree with Ruben. Alec Bohm is a VERY good player who can play both 1st and 3rd bases. I don't think he should be traded unless the Phills are getting an outstanding player to replace him.
Seemed to me the first half of last season was mostly against weaker teams. Maybe that’s part of why they did so well in the first half. I’d like to hear your take on the 2025 schedule.
Bigger questions: Why did the entire Phillies line-up slump for six weeks in midsummer and in the playoffs? Why was there a lack of plate discipline by seasoned pros? Why did the entire relief pitching corps lose confidence and collapse in the playoffs? Identify the root causes, whether talent, attitude, coaching, leadership, psychology, culture, etc. and fix it. Otherwise, more of the same players will just provide more of the same.
I’d do a deal for buxton if they take castellanos back. Obviously it wouldn’t be a straight swap but I’d rather have buxton, and maybe he can have better health out of center field
@@362chop to be fair, he's only had two good series in the postseason with the Phillies, and both were only in the NLDS. He's also streaky overall and doesn't take great ABs which is why they want to move on from him
@@PhillyThe13th yeah no doubt, but I think you can make the argument that the Phillies could use Buxton's higher upside (offensively and defensively). Idk I think they'd benefit from a player who can raise their ceiling. Plus, they don't need to rely on Buxton in the regular season like the Twins do. They can be more careful with him to make sure he's ready for October.
Could n what would it take to get Mike Trout? The Angels are terrible. IMO we need Trout to bat before or behind Harper because there is no one on this current roster that scares you other than Harper!

Only if they can couple him up with Realmuto for financial relief.

We agree!
I think we all need to pitch in and get RAJ a new Webcam for Christmas 😂
lol and new WiFi for Hanukkah
We've all had WiFi issues at some point. Super frustrating when it happens. Fortunately, it hasn't happened when we've had a guest on the show.
❤❤❤
Damn, we can’t get a xxl with the giveaway? It’s tough out here for the big guys haha
We have XXL available. Everything from S to XXL. Unfortunately, no XXXL. Maybe down the road!
I dont understand, what is the point of waiting to sign these guys. Like sign them now, get them cheaper than waiting lol
Here's to a better 2025... Go Phillies Show
Thanks for the support!

Buxton is always hurt. He would be a huge risk.
Castellanos is the only PS reliable bat. Buxton has Trout syndrome.

Trout would get hurt putting on his jock strap. He’s over the hill with a terrible high salary.
@@mattf.1233 Maybe, but in reality we aren't getting Soto. We need someone.
