In my view, after that guy smarted off to you and the clerk, you would've been completely justified in saying "come get it at the yard" and driving off. But as usual, you do things the classy way. You're a far more patient man than me, and I admire you for it.
The moment he went and pointed and swiped across his neck Johnny should have just put the bed up and told them to go and get their yard supervisor. And if they kept it up, called police or left. That sort of threatening behavior is not on.
Those construction guys are lucky you are patient! Anyone else might have left and made them pick their vehicle up at the yard! Have a good week Johnny and stay safe! ✌
Probably if the construction Foreman went over and said can we park in your lot or at least rent a portion of it for reasonable price each month he probably would have said yeah hell yeah
Definitely We had a construction going on near one of stores I do repairs at and their site manager asked if they could park there for a few weeks until they got a concrete pad set up on their site The owner of our company said to let us know which vehicles so we'd not accidentally have them towed
Does anyone else find you are watching the background so nobody sneaks up on Johnny? I caught myself just now and thought what are you doing? God bless Johnny. Much prayers for strength and safety. I would have your back. You guys don’t get enough credit. You do an honest job and work hard. Ignore any haters.
Your pull with the BMW was a thing of beauty and experience! The workers could just ask and pay to park there at the station. Plus, the owners of the firm need to get a shuttle from legal lots and help their crews.
Jeez, Johnny, I don't envy the crap you have to put up with while simply trying to do your job. You have the patience of a saint. Take care and keep smiling.
Towtrucker you do an awesome job 99% of the time. People don’t like getting yanked .but after you explain to them ,you were called they get it. Too bad those construction guys hated to give it up. Always end up laughing at your videos. Can’t believe how much patience you have, stay safe thanks for sharing
I'm glad you got the Benz parked in the Uber Eats only parking spot. I'm a Uber Eats driver myself and understand it's hard to find a parking spot in builds like that and it's nice that the management makes a parking for delivery drivers and it sucks when people park in these spots! Now they have to pay the full price to take it out! LOL! Good job #towtrucker.
Super impressed how you picked up that Mercedes without damaging it, your vehicle, the bollards, the wall or the kerb. Full respect. Kinda felt for the construction guy because of lack of parking, up until his behaviour showed his true side. At that point he’d have been collecting it at the yard if I’d have been towing it.
The construction company could have approached the gas station owner and asked if they could rent out 4 or 5 spots to park vehicles in. But in reality the construction company should have parking at their main yard and then have a transport van to bring workers to the worksites.
Turner always has parking. Their parking lot is probably further away and those guys wanted to park closer. I work construction and this happens all the time. People would rather risk the tow than walk an extra 5 or 10 mins to the job site.
@@ktwitch21 I work at a hospital and you can see spots in the grass at the edge of the paid parking areas where people have driven over it in order to get out without paying the $3 exit fee. Plus people park on the main road which is a no parking area, so the cops just cruise by at random and give out parking tickets, though they seem more interested in giving out speeding tickets then parking tickets. Got to make that monthly speeding ticket quota I guess.
I am always amazed at the skill you have and use to load cars in tight spaces. Also how patient you are. I hope that threat was just a moment of anger and not real. Stay safe.
I would also like to add, the clerk was nice enough to allow you to accept the drop fee and to drop the vehicles on site. He did not have to allow it after being basically threatened and the way the construction workers seemed like they were trying to be intimidating by the number of workers that came to inquire about a vehicle. Being formerly in the same industry, I have great respect for you and your patience. Stay safe. Keep up the great work. God bless!
I worked construction for 20 years before I went to work for myself , and it's true , most costruction sites have room to furnish parking , at least to some extent , to the workers . I have worked at several jobs though where we had to pay to park especially in downtown areas where parking is scarce, Phillips Arena being one of them . we paid by the month because it was cheaper than the daily rate . . Still no excuse for parking illegally , but look at what you are dealing with now . . I would have left with both cars and made them come get them AND pay the full brunt for their disregard for the law .
I have probably seen every video of yours so far. When I was fairly new to the USAF my childhood friend was towing and when I was home on leave I would ride with him. I would have a blast! That's probably why I love your videos so much! I agree with some others, you put up with more crap than I could. Keep the videos coming, I'm loving it!!!
We worked out a deal with a contractor for renting out our church parking lot for the summer. They parked heavy equipment on our old lot helping break it up for fall replacement. The contractor assisted us in new asphalt and removed the old lot. One of the construction crew became friends with our minister. Six months later our minister married them. I was asked to be an usher and we wore orange vests. Sometimes miracles fine you.
Their sense of entitlement is off the hook, literally. They couldn't communicate with the store, they just threaten them after the fact. Very nice of you to let them pay it out.
It never ceases to amaze me how someone does wrong and then blames someone else, completely absolving themselves from any responsibility for their actions.
I agree with you 100% it's really on the head of the construction company to see that the workers have a place to park, or maybe the guys that are parking there have the head guy go talk to the Gas station owner and try and work something out. I guarantee that, if everyday people were parking their cars on the construction site being in the way, The Site Boss would have them towed in a flash.
It's not on the head of the construction company to supply parking. Part of your agreement to work for any construction company is to find your way to the site and find a place to park. There is never room to park on the construction site because well, it's a construction site.
@@Ryanthusar I kind of agree to that However if they are building in an areas That it is Known parking is going to be an issue, seeing how the head Guy needs those people to help Build, Would be a respectful thing I think , it would show workers that the head Guy actually gives a sht about them an Appreciates their Getting to work, so they can get that Nice Bonus when the job gets done earlier then intended, because those Guys Work their Azzes off, and put up with BS....

That first Benz used a good trick. Lift the front wheels and try to pull the OPPOSITE direction of the tail of the vehicle. It will pivot faster. Didn't look like you had much room and did a fine job. Cheers!
Sounds like the construction company should have van pooling for their employees to the work site, not have everyone drive their individual vehicles to the site.
Yes you are right, I've worked on several sites where they have off site parking and vans to pick you up at the start of the day and bring you back at the end of the day, some people just don't follow the rules.
Pretty awesome how you got that Mercedes-Benz out of that parking garage! That's the first time I've ever seen that done! Yes, I saw the construction guy give the slit throat gesture! Not very nice of him at all! Stay safe ❤
Well, that was an interesting video. Nice to see the Benz get towed, so much entitlement. The construction guy should get in some kind of trouble for that threat. He's the one who wad in the wrong. Stay safe, and God bless you and yours.
You made that tricky 1st tow look easy you’re such a professional! That guy was all show trying to be tough in front of his buddies! I’m glad they didn’t try and gang up on you I would have been nervous with all those guys hanging around! Stay safe Johnny!

You did get it on camera….terrible threat
@darthdzl
Totally agree I would have been straight in the truck and outa there
You can’t threaten someone’s life like that. He needs to know there can be consequences for his behavior.
llamando a la policia!
That wasn't an easy tow, but u make it look easy.
Had me on the edge of my seat with that Benz, that was super tight!
That pull with the BMW was a work of art Johnny. That shows talent and experience. Love the video.😊
it made me cringe

A shuttle is what I thought of also.
Got to say, the manoeuvre to line that white Mercedes up on the truck bed was top notch.
More suspenseful than most movies. And totally clean.

It's funny Jumpin' Johnny. You are constantly scanning looking for trouble on the horizon.
The moral of the story is DON’T PARK YOUR CAR WHERE IT DON’T BELONG and you won’t get towed. It’s pretty simple thing to figure out.
