5:48 - Siôn Jenkins's conviction was eventually quashed. He's now a free man. He tried to get compensation for being jailed for 6 years, but lost:
    www.theguardian.com/uk/2010/aug/15/sion-jenkins-billie-jo-compensation
"Jenkins, 52, was jailed in 1998 for the murder of his foster daughter, Billie-Jo Jenkins, 13, who was beaten to death with a tent peg at their home in Hastings, Sussex, in 1997. The conviction was quashed on appeal and two retrials ended with juries unable to reach a decision. It was clear the legal avenues had been pretty much exhausted and no further retrial was ordered. Jenkins was found not guilty and released. He remarried and now lives in Hampshire."

The father that killed his daughter would have been okay with the boyfriend having suspicion and sending him to the gallows. Deceitful and betraying the entire family for his own selfish desires. Hurting his own child, his daughter, that relied on him for guidance and protection. Then rules the family with an iron fist, and can't even control himself from adultery...pathetic father.rot in jail.burn in hell.

The bus driver enjoyed his moment in the spotlight getting close to the family, knowing where the police were at & being part of the action. A lot of self importance & keeping tabs on everything thinking he wouldn't get caught. Very manipulative

What a better way to get information and find out exactly what the police know by befriending and gaining the family's trust. Unfortunately for Vickers the sick fuck the police are always suspicious of supposed witnesses who insert themselves into the investigation because they normally have ulterior motives and they actually get off on gaining the family's trust and tormenting them. Grooming is just as exciting to them its like a peadophile's version of foreplay and they also love to try and prove they're far more intelligent than the police and can get away with it. We should bring back hanging for peadophiles and rapists fucking scum of the earth they are!

This T.v Program needs updating, Billie-Jo Jenkins was murdered at the family home in 1997. Siôn Jenkins was charged with the murder and later convicted, but always maintained his innocence of the crime. An appeal in 1999 against his conviction failed, but after a second appeal in August 2004 it was quashed by a court as unsafe and he was released on bail pending a retrial. The juries in two retrials were unable to reach verdicts, and a not guilty verdict was recorded in 2006.

It was the father! wow, I really didn't see that one coming!
As for Jamie's case, it is absolutely terrible, sickening, tragic and the family must have gone through hell but I do have to say that an 8 year old should not have been left alone to go off as far as a bus station and play by themselves and this would be the reason why; there are some sick, sick fucks in this world! the cctv footage of him following Jamie into his bus is chilling!

    • @emmalovelock6757
      @emmalovelock6757 Год назад

My daughter is almost 16 & I have only just allowed her to get the train!!
Not saying it was the parents fault but to assume that an 8 year old is going to be wise enough to spot danger is a bad choice as was proven!
& in all honesty, the bus driver coming forward to ‘volunteer’ the information that he was the last person to see him should have raised suspicion from the off…. mother’s instinct would say to me ‘how would you know you were the last to see him unless it was because it was you that harmed him’ & then the odd behaviour in regards to “wanting to help so much” would be a red flag because that is just not a normal way for a MAN to behave! Blokes just aren’t like that, blokes shy away from stuff like that! Sorry to generalise/stereotype but that’s just how they are! A mum acts that way towards another mum because they have that ‘mum instinct’, an affinity towards another mum!
To still not believe Vickers was odd even after the police arrested him is just weird (forget the detective saying that the parents were in denial, there’s being in a state of denial & there’s being developmentally delayed or maybe just naïve!!!
      Extremely frustrating 😏😏😏

I'm no lawyer but a finding of not guilty does mean that person is not guilty or is innocent, at least in the eyes of the law. Now whether they are guilty or not in reality is a different story but that works both ways as there are plenty of innocent people behind bars. This is why you cannot be charged twice for the same crime-you've been found not guilty. There are appeals but that involves the original charge.

    2. He clearly loved his daughter dearly for over twenty years. You're completely disregarding that. Would it be because you don't like to think regular people can commit murder (by part accident or otherwise) and try to cover it up? Well, they can, and do.

Many of them fail by asking compounded questions like "Did you see the child? Did you speak to them?" - "No" they answer, but what are they saying no to? No to not speaking with the child? Or no to not seeing the child? A lot of people evade answering questions this way. For example, he could have very well saw the child, grabbed them, knocked them out, raped them and murdered them without ever uttering a word to the child. This allows him to confidently answering "No" in a convincing manner to those two questions, but secretly only replying to one

look jog on and preach to those who wishs to know what you have to say, I've had enough, life will teach you, until then just me alone to have my own opinion, to which you are NOT invited to join in,

I don't know why it seems you are trying to turn this into something nasty, like you have your opinion, I have mine, you are lucky being of a western culture, I was born in this country and very little freedom as a youngster, and I don't hold that against my parents, I actually am grateful, children should be allowed some freedom, yet not to the point they need to wonder the streets at such a young age, they have their life ahead of them, each to their own, I'm glad to be brining my kids up

This documentary should be re-released with the Sion Jenkins story removed as he was subsequently acquitted. I have to say that the motive given was pretty ridiculous and the timeline didn't really make sense.

@Skindoggiedog ok, i enjoyed bantering with you so far, but that comment is un called for... i would never ever happen upon killing anyone, let alone my own child... and if i did even by an accident; i.e car car accident, or even if she fell ill, i would 100% kill myself to join her. conversation closed.

Vickers is an idiot for doing what he did. If he'd said nothing, the case might have become cold.

@ThomasAUSTRALIA1 I agree with you it is helps :-) You were just feeding a troll. Keep your coolface on. :-) You are absolutely right about the negligence, then again, I guess I could count the mother's IQ on my hands. Children are just left roaming around on a bigger scale that we would like to imagine.
