Thank you for recording this! Trinity should make a video like this for their website as they make it incredibly confusing. My question is, I have just submitted a grade 8 piano exam for my son and have no idea if it was successfully submitted. I received an email from submittable which said “you have uploaded an additional form”. No email saying “you have successfully submitted and these are the next steps”. I tried to email Trinity but you just get a message back referring to the old system (which was fraught with difficulty too!). Do you know how you see if your submission was received correctly? I can see it says “in progress” on Submittable but no confirmation of successful submission. Thank you for your video…..Trinity take note!
Hi, thanks for the kind word! To answer your question, you may click 'view submission' from that email, and should be directed to the page which contains all information you have submitted, including the video. You have to scroll down a bit from the page if you don't see it. However you cannot make any change.
Submittable is a 3rd party website, so the system email is worded differently and not sent by Trinity. I agree there are more works to be done on Trinity's end to make this process a more user-friendly experience.

No more option to view results online? This is strange... Before they had a learning portal where it was quite clear and you can view results straight away....
Hi, based on my experience so far, the result is only sent via email in PDF format. Hope Trinity improves the experience by also including the result on the portal 😊

Hi! One of my students played all 3 technical exercises instead of two. Now I am not sure whether they will accept that video or not. Will they fail the student if anything extra that is not mentioned is played?
Hi, since we do not represent Trinity hence unable to give you a confirmation on their behalf. In my opinion, it should be fine as everything required is there. You may consult your Trinity local representative for a confirmed answer.

how come I can’t see the drop list? is it still available?
Hi, are you referring to the drop list to select the pieces/exercises? It should still be there. Maybe try refreshing the webpage or login again in a while if the issue persists?
Do we have to submit any supporting test for the digital exam?
And one more thing is that i am not doing any own composition but i wil be doing own interpretation is it correct please suggest

Hello, how long it usually takes to receive video submission login details (from email where we can submit the exam video) from the date of submission of online application form + payment of examination fees?
Hi, when you register, you have to select submission month. You will receive submission login details in the middle of the month you selected, usually in between 8th-14th. Then you will have 28 days to submit the exam video.
Do check spam folder in case the email gets there, and contact your local Trinity representative if you did not receive the email.

Hi, you may try to do so. Trinity does not have specification regarding video file size, but you are advised to compress the file size so the upload time will not be too long.
