I really like your spreads using one color items clustered together. They meld well cohesively. I look forward to the next one. Yellow is my favorite it brings joy and happiness when seeing it. Its reflective of the sun. There are so many things that are yellow like a rubber ducky. How can you not smile seeing a cute squeaky lil rubber ducky? Yellow lemons make sweet yummy lemonade. i recently drew lemon slices it was fun to learn the texture of them and the outside of the lemon stippling. Very inspiring

The word for orange fruit came first:) I used to dislike yellow, but I slowly came to appreciate a sunshine yellow (hued slightly toward orange). Anyway, i think polka dot rain boots would fit nicely on your future yellow page 😊 Fun video!

I love your Inktober drawings. I’m a Doc Marten girlie too! I collect them and have 9-10 pair. I even have a pair with the Union Jack on them. Ohhhh and ones with sequins that one direction are black and another are silver! Love your pages and ideas. I’m going to implement the painting a background so as to not start from scratch. Yellow: Yellow Submarine, Lemonade, kitchen sponges, Leaves , Caution tape (that they use around a crime scene).

Late to this (didn’t get notification 😢) but I love the watercolour background pages with the reverse colouring style! You may have already mentioned this somewhere but what sketchbook do you use? It seems to hold up to watercolour really well. Yellow things: well in Australia we play a game called ‘spotto’ which is kind of like ‘punch buggy’ except you call out spotto and punch the person next to you on the shoulder when you see a yellow car so I automatically thought of drawing a yellow VW beetle 😜 In kindergarten (I think its Reception there - your first year of primary school) we had a term where each week was a different colour and we’d have days where we’d wear eg red clothes, one day would be red crafts, another red foods culminating in a rainbow party. Colour themed sticker sets sounds so fun!

I looked up orange, and it seemed that it came from a place to start with. The color orange was called yellow-red. Then, the citrus fruit was called orange. After that, the color got that name. I had to look up what a Hake brush was, lol!!
