Genuine question, no hate at all. Recently I've been looking into the ships of bts and for some reason taekook is the same as jikook and jinkook is the same as Namjin so doesn't that just conclude that all the members are just extremely affection with each other? I've also read that in Korea there is platonic intimacy between men which is totally normal and westerners might think it's something else. Please tell me what's so different about taekook because of everything I've watched so far jikooks moments are way worse than taekook. I'm not a shipper btw just genuinely don't get the ships.
There is no difference. I have seen Tae watch JHope the same way and have similar moments. Hell you can call any random pairing of the guys and you will find some intimate relations. Although I do agree that jikook tends to be a little more intense than all the other pairings we can never know because there is such a thing called skinship in Korea where men tend to be very physically affectionate with each other (totally opposite of western norms). Therefore at this point the only 'safe' option is enjoy whichever pairing you wish without thinking that it is absolutely real because we would never know considering the homophobic culture they live in.
Korean culture doesn’t romanticize same-sex touching. We in the west think there’s more to touching than friendship, but there isn’t. Same sex touching is common and ordinary. Chill, everyone.

Recently I've been looking into the ships of bts and for some reason taekook is the same as jikook and jinkook is the same as Namjin so doesn't that just conclude that all the members are just extremely affection with each other?
I've also read that in Korea there is platonic intimacy between men which is totally normal and westerners might think it's something else.
Please tell me what's so different about taekook because of everything I've watched so far jikooks moments are way worse than taekook.

There is no difference. I have seen Tae watch JHope the same way and have similar moments. Hell you can call any random pairing of the guys and you will find some intimate relations. Although I do agree that jikook tends to be a little more intense than all the other pairings we can never know because there is such a thing called skinship in Korea where men tend to be very physically affectionate with each other (totally opposite of western norms). Therefore at this point the only 'safe' option is enjoy whichever pairing you wish without thinking that it is absolutely real because we would never know considering the homophobic culture they live in.
