True in international games england have the best fans in the world for sure i notice other countries international fans are not as good as their club support like germany for example
People need to realize...HOME matches our fans are one of the worst in the world, because of overcharging and commercializing ect...But when we are at an AWAY match or an international competition, we are up there in the top 5 without a doubt, anybody who doesn't think that is either deluded, Scottish or just hates us...so Scottish.

I'm not a fan of drums and that at football matches in England, however I thought the France game (when they were banned) sounded quite quiet and dull.. The away end looked absolutely superb against Ukraine and Sweden and to be honest I think the band helps.. Band or no band, we're still the best.
Yes that's true when it comes to going away and making noise you cant beat the working class English but when we are at home most of our home competitions are full of tourists and middle class England fans because the working class cant afford to go the home matches when they have familys to look after and bills to pay. I thing the England fans would have been singing whether the band was there or not. I find the band annoying when watching on the box, I can't imagine how tedious they are in the ground. A drum isn't so bad but come on...trumpets?!
As someone else mentioned about this video, the Ring of Fire is a good example... sounds shit until that drum kicks in. I don't actually mind the drum, they need to fuck them shite fucking trumpets off though. However, they can keep any instrument far, far away from Goodison.

The band is naff and I don't think the the band creates the atmosphere at all...if anything it dilutes it. Continuous trumpetting along to the great escape and the self preservation society is not my idea of a good atmsophere. It's crap and we should get rid.
