He can also holdout pretty well with retaliate leg card then whirl and run away for some while. And another thing is that it's really cool to look at cause it looks like a swordfight.

I love that overwatch players invade the paladins update comments to just attack the game. Calling the characters rip-offs and such but when Sombra was released I didn't see Paladins players call her a clone of Skye. I personally think both games are lovely. Yes Paladins is buggy and it's been in beta for a while but what can you expect from games nowadays? Some get pushed to the side for polishing (The last guardian). What I'm trying to say is why can't we live in a world where two games can be similar without having to be called copies?

Zhin is not unique at all lmao. Primary attack is genji shuriken reskin, counter is genji reflect reskin (literally counters with a sword too), whirl is any warframe character with fire melee doing slide spin (creates aura of fire during slide), billow is reapers wraith form (cant get attacked and is in black smoke) and ult is like genjis ult to a single person (kinda unique looking but at the end with legendary card its just another 1 hit kill ult what is not unique) so please explain how is he unique?

guys, first of all Zhin is chinese, second of all using sword to block projectiles was not invented by overwatch, it was invented more than 3000 years ago in ancient china and probably other countries around the world. third of all reaper is not the only champion allowed to move in smoke. Stop comparing those characters, if u think u can come up with a 100% original character then u can say whatever u want, if no, then shut up
Technically we think the way OW fanboys here think we can say that Reaper is a rip-off of Delsin (Main character of Infamous: Second Son) because one of his main abilities was smoke-walk.
Overwatch fanboys take every little bit of detail of a Paladins character and compare it not just to OW but also to other games, if you use that logic then there is no such thing as original characters since every little bit of detail counts as a rip-off of another character.

This looks like a fun play style, however (although I havent played him yet) I feel his damage might be really weak, if not to weak. Especially when it comes to his ult. His ult didnt even bring Ashe down to half health. So unless his ult charges really quick, he may be kind of squishy
Benjamin Lock Maybe he's just a buff character(which are basically characters that heavily rely on abilities to do damage, like Genji from Overwatch).
thrs a legendary card where each hit from his ult deals 25 percent of the targets health.. so 25 x 4 is 100

They have already said that they have no intention of adding a melee character. There used to be one or two in the past, Grover used to be one. but they said where the game has become really projectile focused a melee character would not work.

I think it would be cool to make his ultimate like Achilles’. If he manages to kill an enemy with it then he can repeat it but will take more damage the more he uses it

I am glad to know that playing Overwatch brainwashes you to make you think that everything in Overwatch is 100% original and others things is just a "Overwatch re-skin" and Blizzard should sue the Universe (or God/Gods/Goddess) for ripping off Overwatch. Never going to play it.

Side note: CC-immune champions can make him waste his ult cuz it counts as a stun. Survived it as Maeve, with CC-cleanse legendary and avoided it completely as Inara using the mother's grace legendary and hitting right click before he hit. Grover using his OB53 ult would probably be safe too.

then proceed to try to be reaper aswell
Deflect = / = Counter. Because reflecting a projectile is not the same as negating a projectile then responding with a melee-range counterattack.
Is zhin a ninja? I don't think so. Does he slash dash i don't think so he spins, does he have shurikens i don't think so he has flaming vacuum waves, does genji actually counter attack after he blocks i don't think so, does genji have a yasuo(league of legends) style ultimate i don't think so, can genji become a puff of smoke like ao kuang(smite) can become water i don't think so. They both have swords big deal at least zhin uses it more and honestly he is more related to his Smite counterpart ao kuang in terms of theme and lore(both tyrants), they both hold their swords in a similar style, they both can turn into smoke/water a an escape, they are both eastern inspired, and they both have a dash into an execute ultimate.

actually tried him out his right click doesn't "deflect" it just blocks attacks and does a melee counter, so basically compared to androxus's reversal it doesn't get the damage back

His primary fire reminds me of reinhardt's fire strike.
His counter is similar to genji's but different. (clearly)
His billow is similar to Reaper's wraith.
His whirl is similar to genji's dash.
And his ultimate reminds me of Ne Zha's ultimate.
Also, to me, he looks like Hanzo with the young Hanzo or master skin.
Young Andro genji's dash skill is more similar to maeve's pounce tbh.

Its nice to see how today's samurais can actually be untargetable. everyone knows he'd have abilities that we probably have seen in some games that exists out there nowadays. No one can say its creative. NO AT ALL. When i knew he was going to be a samurai or sth, i knew what pack of skills were coming with him. This game needs more creativity when it comes to developing new champions because it has a great potential to be unique.
