I'm a newbie I really want to learn this technique GBU I like cold process soap don't like the waiting can you do a video from start to finish and post the recipe it will be great to watch the whole process
how is your hot process soap is not too thick i thought hot process soap videos at the end soap is too thick and its hart to put in the mold how is your manageable and also when u add color in your soap it is mixing really well can you give me suggestion how to prevent soap become too please
Hi Sonu. This method uses the SJHP 10-minute hot process method which produces fluid hot process soap. You can also create fluid hot process soap using the crock pot. There are also additives such as Sodium Lactate which create a fluid soap. I suggest making small batches until you get the hang of it. Good luck!
+Sonu K SJHP stands for Sharon Johnson Hot Process. It is also known as SBHP, which stands for Stick Blend Hot Process. It is also known as 10-Minute Countertop Hot Process. It is a hot process method that Sharon has perfected for very fluid hot process soap in 10 minutes without any outside heart source like a crock pot or a stove. In this video (0:00 - 1:28), Sharon talks about her eBook, which you can purchase and learn how to make hot process soap using her method. Sharon also has links under her video for purchasing her book and to her FB soap group. As for how long the soap needs to cure using this method.......the soap is technically already cured when it is finished, but depending on how much water you use you may want to let it sit and evaporate a little more of the water out. It is usable immediately after unmolding like all hot process soap is. If you watch the other videos on her RUclips channel, you will see she has fluid hp in all her videos. All of it is due to her SJHP method, which you can learn to do with her eBook. I have seen people say they can wait as little as a couple of days (with a low water amount) and some wait a week with a higher water amount. So, it kind of depends on the water amount you use. The water amount used in the recipes in the eBook is 38%. But once you are comfortable with this technique, you can lower it.
+Sonu K Hi Sonu. When using 38% water, along with a Hard Oil Recipe, my soaps can be sold in 7 days. If I use 33% Water along with a Hard Oil Recipe, my soaps are ready to sell in 24 hours, as there is no more significant water loss.
so you do water discount and do you only use hard oils not soft oils like olive oil , sweet almond or other liquid oils then how can i determan lye weight pls you are so kind to reply me back this is really good help to me i was looking for how to cure soap faster because if i use full amount of water in the recipe soap need to cure at least 4 to 6 weeks and with 38% of water amount using soap won't be lye heavy right??
I don't know how to measure water weight in % i use bramble berry lye calculator ager recipe calculate my recipe is 47 oz of total oils and i have 55% olive oil, 20% coconut oil, 10% cocoa butter, 10% shea butter and 5% castor oil and water and lye weight it didn't give in percents only oz my water after calculate is 6.40 OZ lye and 15.51 OZ of water and i don't know to to calculate my water weight in 15.51 OZ to % if you can help me pls
+Sonu K I use the soapcalc.com lye calculator for just this reason! Plug in all your info and it will give it to you in % or oz. There is a RUclips video that a gal made to show you how to use the soapcalc calculator if you need help. I have found that the soapcalc one works better for your recipe if you are doing hot process than the Brambleberry one too, has to do with water amounts. (I am not affiliated with either lye calc!) Hope this helps.
And I thought I was the bees knees doing two colours! Four - and making it look so easy. Inspired. Thank you!

Your one on one FaceTime is how long?
+Michelle Bell It's an hour. Thanks for watching!
why choose HP over CP? is it personal preference or do they not take as long to cure? I make CP but I don't know anything about HP.
but the soaps do loom beautiful!!!
who on earth can wait that long for it to cure??? hahaha.
I can not 😚
