The skates are cute and at least with the knee articulation she can be posed to look like she is actually skating. They already had a Colour Reveal series which came with little jacket/cover-alls, they could have just reused the patterns they already had. I will always prefer more clothes than accessories and have a feeling that kids would prefer the same.
Waiting to see if Mattel will make this dolls in full MTM body, although they are not my couple of tea, but if they do, who knows! She does have a sweet face, nonetheless 🥰! I wish the Extra girls to have a MTM version too! 😫
I'm sure if they hadn't had to give these dolls MTM legs to get them to fit into the drink cup they wouldn't have, so sadly I doubt we'll be getting a full MTM body in this range but you never know. As for the Barbie Extra girls, unfortunately it is looking like the line has been cancelled, which seems like a shame as they were always quite fun and colourful.
I rather like this one. Her face is pretty once the extra stuff has been removed and I like the articulation. Perhaps wrist articulation would have been better than ankles though. Cute shorts and roller skating photo! Ooooh, was that an advent calendar I saw? Roll on December 1st!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I wonder if I can use acetate on the strawberry on the cheek to get rid of it, but I've never done anything like that before and don't want to spoil her. I do really like her face and the hair is lovely. I'm guessing they came with ankle articulation as a default of them having to use the legs of the MTM body (the double jointed knees is the only way they would have been able to fold them up enough to get them inside the drink cup). @@MarchPaynesMidlifeDollyCrisis I think I've used acetone to get rid of Barbie make up. It was a long time ago though so I'm not completely sure. A friend said hand sanitiser works, it sounds odd though 🤔.
@@millydollydame You wouldn't think that hand sanitiser would be able to strip paint! My concern is that I don't want to accident remove anything else from Barbie's face - like an eye. I guess I'd just have to get a bit on a q-tip and be very careful.

I need to get friendly with someone that paints Warhammer miniatures again so they can dry brush the solid plastic accessories and make them stand out more, I swear. The smell is coming from inside the doll!!!
I still keep getting whiffs from her. I think it's her hair which is annoying as I want to give it a wash but don't want to lose the fragrance! Yeah, the rollerskates would look great if they had painted in details for sure.
I think this might be my first scented doll! Although I do have a vintage She-Ra Perfuma doll but sadly she is no longer scented. As for the "furry" comment, I'm pretty sure it's what we've all been thinking for a while now with the Cutie Reveals 😉

I wouldn't mind the strawberry on the cheek so much if it actually vanished like it was meant to but there is always a faint patch of green when it's not there so it looks like she has a bruise on her cheek. Ideally I would like to just remove it altogether.
