I modified the top slightly and had my dog drop the ball on top. I modified it (1) the direction the ball went in so the dog never stood close to the front and (2) to take a moment longer by having the ball roll down a 12” pvc tube cut in half lengthwise (it took a lot training for them to trust the device would give the ball back). As long as I cheered them on and pet them when they brought me the ball sometimes, they kept playing til they were tired. I set up a motion camera and the dogs never played unless I was there too. Still, we use it. Thanks for the great plan!

@@sharonsilveria5617 hm.. not an improvement per se, they have a good design and it works well. I just made a those changes because I had too much free time back then. The dogs seem to still enjoy, too.

It's just cool to watch but so impractical and a waste of time to make. It barely tosses the ball farther than a 4 year old could.

Its easy to throw it with ur hands but if i can train my dog to put the ball in it or make mag that can hold 10 balls then it will be cool

That is a GEARED car windscreen wiper motor. 12 volt. Available at any car wreckers
