Thank You, Thank you, Thank You! I had the same problem. The Parking lights on my 2001 Toyota Corolla would stay on when I turn off the car and removed the key. Very frustrating. I'm glad I found your video. Your simple solution fixed my parking lights staying on problem perfectly. I had the exact same IC chip on the circuit-board burnt up, just as you described. I cleaned it off and everything started to work correctly ( Manually of course) Thank you!
