Cancel cultures was mainly about opinions and having a crappy view a d people not liking it which was stupid in itself because everyone is allowed an opinion regardless how shitty it is. You cant even use the same logic for crime because it’s literal crime. I agree.
I’m so glad cancel culture is starting to get canceled, because there’s literally no point in it. As we’ve seen here cancel culture clearly doesn’t even result in any actual justice. So there’s literally no point, it’s just bullying on steroids. It does nothing to people with actual power, and destroys people that are already vulnerable and often times don’t even deserve it.
Cancel culture actually refers to cancellation for opinion, when it becomes a matter of action it is now criminal. If the action is not criminal then there is no issue.
Not that I am defending cancel culture I hate cancel culture but I would’ve said it’s only cancel culture when it’s a matter of opinion

I barely made it through uni with my sanity, if anything they get even MORE immature between 18-24 when they finally get freedom, money, booze and their first real girlfriends. As a member of law enforcement, James TERRIFIES ME. He's the predator who thinks he's in the right. If he slept with someone, he'd justify his behavior and I can guarantee he won't stop until he's stopped. He's dangerous and he knows he is, but his desire is driving him. Very scary. So after a little investigation TikTok will allow access to anyone’s communications under a warrant. Well it’s pretty simple to get one. All you’d need to do is hire a regulated private investigator to get one (takes 3 weeks in the UK). And hey presto you’d have all of his messages.

I don't know the law in the US, I worked with child protection and usually the victim will have to come forward to the police or divulge the information to a mandatory reporter eg a social worker, appropriate adult, teacher etc or a report would have to be filed with social services then an investigation and if that is upheld a criminal investigation will proceed and again if upheld the perpetrator will be placed on the child protection register as an offender. It can be a lengthy process and the offender register is not public. Therefore an offender can be housed beside children but their data is protected by law and the system puts the trust in them not to reoffend and parents and guardians are left completely unaware of the danger posed to their kids. Ridiculous. Again no idea of US law.
