Glad I watched your video. Just ordered this for my kid. I’ll do the lube thing before I even give it to him! I dig the music. The heavier the better!!!
Hi. Great video. I've done this one 3 of these cars but what I found wears out first is actually the metal on each side of the diff that the axle turns. Sorry do not know the technical term. You end up with deep grooves in the metal (these cars are pumping out strong power), and on checking for spare parts, it doesn't seem worth buying the diff ends and all the fiddly work pulling apart and reassembly. For a touch more money you can just buy a whole new diff. Love to hear your thoughts? Regard.
Your video is the 2nd one I have seen mentioning how the diffs are dry as 90 yr old P~~~y. KY jelly would not work in this application because it’s water soluble. I got some synthetic grease that looks awesome. My exact model shows up in about 10 days. I’m so glad I saw both videos and SUB’d to my Mëtal brother of course. I would have definitely run mine dry and glad that isn’t going to happen! Thx!
This is what I'm waiting on to arrive... it's been a few weeks but I am hopeful it will get here soon....I gotta know does that hardcase 5200mah zee fit in the car???
Hi how did you make the shocks look so smooth and soft? I rebuilt mine a couple of times, they are plush but not as smooth and soft as yours. Any tips?
cool video everything explained very well I have to wait until December 6th then it will first be sent and then another 20 days shipping to Austria. Lg Max
Thanks for the video. I'll be rewatching it when my 124018 arrives. Hopefully the cover doesn't prevent me from servicing it, unless I can take it off to make it easier. I'm new to RC and this will be my first car. I don't have many tools, what are the tools I need for what you just did here (diffs, shocks). Thank you!

No problem bud. Have fun it's an awesome little truck.
How have I lived my entire life without a goddamn grease knife?

It does not. Not without trimming some of the plastic.
bro nice video. what about filling it with only silicon oil, would be good for the difs ?
like we do in 1/8 cars. just full silicon oil in diffs.

Thanks for watching. You need a set of hex head tips. 1.5mm to maybe 3mm. And just some basic tools. Screwdriver, pliers, etc.
Donovan, it’s time to get some tools, grease and a copy of Rein In Blood 🩸
@@metaljew4456 lmao
@@metaljew4456 haha thanks, I did purchase some tools and can appropriately listen to Piece by Piece.
Thanks a Lot Man. Nice vídeo.
Thanks for the info. Good to know
Thanks for watching Dave.
i Have been using Lucas Red and Tacky Greese its is alot better then the marine stuff try it out
That’s not Slayer level of grease! That was more like Warrant: Cherry Pie levels of grease.
Warrant lmao! I don't think they can make a slayer level of grease. Its just too much. Fucking slayer my favorite band of all time!
Jam some silicone earplugs in the rear diff and see how much more fun you have. Those wltoys are useless without mods.
