I’ve had a ct761 for over 5 years. It’s my go to never had any issues. So when the ct861 came out had to have it. So far I’m very pleased with it also. But still grab 761 cause don’t wanna get 861 dirty lol. Now CP has gave me a good ideal what to use 861 for & a reason to buy new brushless ratchet. Gee thanks at least my dealer will be happy

It's so much better than the 761.. I love mine. I also hope snap-on doesn't lag ass around and take forever to offer boots for them. I have the brushless 14.4 drill and screw gun. Both have been flawless so far. Honestly I'm most excited for a brushless long neck 1/4 ratchet. I use the absolute snot out of the current one and it's my go to ratchet.

Great video CP! Love having variety in tools. My only gripe on the Snap On cordless tools, from a usability standpoint is the lights. Drives me nuts that the lights don't have a delay off. You hit the trigger their on second your off the trigger they turn off. My Milwaukee and Dewalt/MAC power tools all stay on for a while after you release the trigger. I don't know if this has changed on the brushless models, but in the older line it is annoying.

The ct861 is a good little tool to have, if you can find it used with a battery and charger for the price that snap on sells just the gun, it’s not the power of the tool that throws it off for me but rather the 1 year warranty, I’m cool with spending more on a snap on tool because I never have to worry about buying another one specifically if it’s a tool I like but 1 year warranty? For that price it’s nuts especially when their competitors are much cheaper and the tools have more power and versatility with the different power settings and battery selection not to mention most companies are making a smaller lighter more powerful tool where is the ct861 got bigger and really didn’t increase in power, it’s a good tool no doubt and the mag battery is cool but it’s not a fair deal these days period.
