🧠 What is The Buzzer/UVB-76?
The Buzzer/UVB-76, also known by its newer callsign NZhTI (НЖТИ), is a Russian military shortwave station that has been active since the late 1970s, transmitting the characteristic buzz tone and occasional voice messages. It's not a dead-hand system, and most popular theories (like the nuclear fail-dead system) are untrue.
