🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 🔌 A Mercedes Vito van is converted into a mobile cafe powered by Victron Energy equipment, including a 5kVA Quattro inverter charger and lithium batteries.
02:27 💪 Victron inverters are praised for their build quality, ease of installation, and excellent customer support.
03:36 ⚡ The van's lithium batteries support high-power appliances, including a coffee machine, pie oven, hot water tap, and refrigerator, enabling it to operate throughout the day.
04:37 🚫 The van's battery-powered setup eliminates noise and exhaust fumes associated with generators, making it ideal for close proximity to food service.
06:55 📶 Victron's VRM and Bluetooth connectivity facilitate remote diagnosis and reprogramming of the system, improving maintenance efficiency.
how much does the system cost?
Should be a 48v system with a boost converter from 12v to 48v to charge the battery, and 48v solar and generator. Far too much power draw on 12v efficieny will be 60%
You do realise this is a lithium system?
@@VictronEnergyBV Yes, I am elec engineer, I have done efficiency tests on most victron inverter chargers, 12v at high current their efficiency drops to 60% so high currents should be avoided. Have you heard of I2R? 24Volt is 4x less losses, 48v is 16 times less losses than 12v.
Annnnnd here is the reason a Cafe2u franchise is 80 grand, when the van has 10 grands worth of victron stuff inside it alone...
