ND filters are useful when shooting in manual settings to keep the shutter speed lower, giving your footage a more “cinematic” look. For example, if you’re shooting 4K at 30fps, your shutter speed should be set to 1/60. Use ND filters in bright sunlight to avoid overexposure. Try keeping the ISO low on a bright day for better results. If it’s too dark or cloudy outside, there’s no need for an ND filter. When flying over water or shooting landscapes with mist in the air, try using a CPL filter for more vibrant colors and fewer reflections. Cheers!

@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones also, to get sky, you don’t need filter at all, just set the exposure adjustment to -3

@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones the filter is used to slow you shutter speed to about double your frame rate that you are recording in.
This give a better sense of motion as the edges of the image start to blur.

CPL= Circular polarizer. UV= Ultraviolet. Polarizer can be useful with highly reflective surfaces, like water. UV is fairly useless today. Can protect the actual lens, I guess.

Works very well on a clear day, and even better when you have puffy white clouds. The depth of the blue sky and the white clouds are striking. The UV filter is basically a 'lens protector'. Also on you Neo, lower the sharpness to -2, you'll thank me later. :)

Dear me those look like a good deal, probably more suited to a brighter day but I’m not a filter expert especially on drones.
