    When it came to the addition of colour, did you use glazing on top of the underpainting or were it opaque passes?

    Zin Lim, does this level of artistic mastery bring a sense of pride and accomplishment (I hope)? Or do you still look at your work and see the flaws?

    • @zinlimart
      @zinlimart  7 лет назад +1

      +TooleyPeter I can have great fun of working on this impressionism style and think the confidence promote possibilities through process. I am not proud of my work itself but proud that I keep experimenting and enjoy those hard work.

      @zinlimart  7 лет назад +1

      Yes...I thought it was done in one sitting myself, until I saw you rest your pinky on the chin of the girl for support. I knew the painting was dry then. You are an amazing artists! I thought it looked real before, but when you glazed it, it really popped OUT!!!

    Do you do your paintings in one sitting ? Or multiple

    • @zinlimart
      @zinlimart  7 лет назад +3

      +Lugh Art
      It was 2 sittings. 1 for monochrome. Let it dry. And 2 for color glazing and background.

      @candle4864 7 лет назад +2

      Pika He is using canvas not paper , oil does not work well on paper as it is not strong enough
