Hi Rachel, GBU... I’m from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷... I live in NY, here comes the BUT... But my parents put me in bilingual classes from 1 to 6 grade... Friends always say that my English supposed to be better since I lived half of my life in NY... I believe the problem was Spanish in the house, Spanish in school and Spanish speaking friends 😞... Now my English is very poor, specially my pronunciation... A big big pronunciation problem is the words SURE, WORLD and GIRL... Did you teach this words already?? If you did so, can you please pass me the link... Thank you so much... I’m new in your channel and I LOVE IT 🥰 ❤️👍🤗🤗🤗
Hi! I'm so happy that you've found my channel! :) I do have videos on a couple of those words for you: WORLD: ruclips.net/video/8_Wwi1KUu_k/видео.html GIRL: ruclips.net/video/9d2Q6ssaXNY/видео.html SURE: I don't have a video on this one - but I can tell you that it is almost always reduced and spoken with a beginning SH consonant followed by the R vowel, and that's it! Keep practicing and I know you'll make great improvement! :)

Flip-flops is actually American & British term of type of sandal. But, another countries have different terms of Flip-flops : 1. Thongs is term of Flip-flops in Australia. And very common used in there and sometimes everyone is distinguished by the term of "thong" for clothes. I actually use the word "Thongs" instead of "Flip-flops". 2. Jandals in New Zealand that derived from "Japanese sandals" because they are like Japanese "zori". en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z%C5%8Dri 3. Slops in South Africa. 4. Tsinelas or step-in in Philippines.
@@studywithcara1562 You can check it in Wikipedia about what I was talking about with Rachel : en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flip-flops. Sorry, I'm not living in Australia. I live in Indonesia. But, I also master and speak Australian English (even this slang) besides the American, British, Singaporean, and Hong Kong English. So, I know this thongs that refer to "Flip-flops" and I use it.
Erdyanto Dwi Nugroho Zheng very clever!! I do live in Australia but I noticed that most people in other countries laugh when I say thongs! I guess you have a lot of Australians in Indonesia though!!
