There is a Walmart near Disney that has awesome Disney merch! It’s literally a fraction of the price of items in the parks. We went there and let the kids pick items there instead of the park!
LOVE how real you are and honest. Not afraid to admit you have a budge and are smart with your money. Also about the tablet. I just love your channel and who you are. Sidney is a very lucky girl to have such a n awesome momma. You rock babe 💕
Trying to convince my husband we should take our daughter before her 3rd birthday in March ! She went for her 2nd this year. The souvenir trick we learned this year the Walmart in Orlando had it ALL the souvenirs. Matching shirts, rain panchos, bubble makers, stuffed characters for a fraction of the cost.
My fiancé and I use the red card 5% savings on Disney gift cards.. my fiancé and I went last December and we went for 7 days and stayed off site and spent under $2000 for everything.
We just got home a couple of weeks ago from taking our 2 year old and 6 month old to Disneyland for the first time. We had such a wonderful time that we’re planning another trip (or two) next year! Gotta love the “kids under 3 are free” policy!!
Dear parents! Let the kids choose their favourite Disney Parks souvenirs!!! When the kids are very good, then they deserve more souvenirs. Every good behaviour kid should have 1-2 bags of Disney Parks souvenirs: plush toys, toys, mini figures, bubble blower, Mickey ears, t-shirts, jacket, drinking bottle, and some pins or magnets and etc. Please buy only those Disney Parks souvenirs, what the kids very want!!!! I know many Disney souvenirs are very expensive, but when the kids are very good all the times, then sometimes they deserve these things!!! Please be kind parents and make Your kids very happy with these Disney Parks souvenirs, what the kids have chosen and don’t say NO all the times, when the kids very deserves those Disney Parks souvenirs for good behaviour!!!
I’m so excited for you guys!! We’re huge on Disney and I literally cry every time I’m there and more so now that I have a 2yo and to see her face light up... I got emotional so many times lol it’s so magical!
Ariana E I honestly don’t know how I’m going to keep my stuff together 😂😭😭😭 I tear up just thinking about it!!! So glad you do too. Ever since becoming a mom, I well up all the time at everything lol
Awesome tips! I’m a single Mom of 4 girls. We’re going for my youngest (Sydney’s 5th Bday). So I’m funding a trip for 5. I’ve been binge watching videos as time gets closer. Were going 4/30/2020.. Are there any good countdown apps you suggest? I also use Ebates, Drop, Fetch Rewards, and Ibotta.. All great money saving apps for things you’d buy anyway. (Side Note: I think it’s awesome that I found your video and our daughters have the same name, Pretty neat!
You should check Dollar Tree for Disney themed washcloths! They come folded up in a small shape and when you put them in the bath they turn into an actual wash cloth. Might be fun for bath time during your trip!
Also there’s a Disney character warehouse I just discovered. They have 2 stores I don’t remember what outlet but good (Disney character warehouse) it is basically merchandise they still have at parks but 70% off . Even Disney Minnie eats for $5 check it out guys
Been waiting for this!! Can’t wait to see how normal moms do Disney without being completely wasteful with their money! Aaryn Williams is too extra with her Disney vacations with toddlers. I’m all about budgeting and just seeing the look on my kiddos face as she takes in Disney!
The Misfit Mama I only dream of that life 😂 I can’t wait to experience it all with Sydney & share it with you guys 🎉❤️🏰 I tear up just thinking about it lol
Tres Chic Mama you keep it real and relatable! 8-10 grand on Disney a few times a year is wicked crazy to me when the kiddos are super young! This Mama would rather put that money towards a dream home or a college fun! Lol
My recommendation on flying is try and hold out on the iPad till she’s being occupied by you! Expand the amount of time on that plane, you got this girl ! These were helpful! Thank you 😊
Watching this 2 weeks late but am loving Momtober! I am so happy you did this video! My husband and I and our 2 year old (she’ll be close to 3 when we go 2 years 9 months also!) are heading to Disney at the end of April 2020 and I seriously can’t wait! Definitely need all the tips and hacks we can get!
Hello! I am a first time Disney planner. I am looking to plan a trip with my 3 kid's (2022 or 2023). My kid's are little (3, 4, and 5). I don't have a car, so I don't have to worry about parking. I also don't qualify for a target red card. Do you still think that I should still get the gift cards or just save cash?
I would say if you are good at saving cash without the temptation of spending it then that’s good enough! I personally wanted gift cards so I knew that was absolutely designated for my trip haha Have so much fun!!
Honestly going to Disney hasn’t crossed my mind since my youngest is about 2 on October 28 but wow now I’m excited I’m going to do the event next year rite before her 3rd bday thank you 🙏 for all the tips
Hi from Canada. Planning a Christmas family trip, 3 generations. I would like advice about how to shuttle us to/back from the theme parks traveling from Kissimmee. TIA
My husband and I wanna take the kids next summer but our baby will only be 15 months. In your opinion, should we leave baby with grandma and grandpa?? Btw absolutely love your videos. I look forward to them every day. I know I don’t comment a lot but I love y’all ❤️😍😍
Hey Mama! I'm a mama too! I live in Florida. I wanted to ask.. if I may.. When are you going to Disney? My countdown is 18 days till our FIRST DISNEY VACATION 😊😊 soooo excited
@@TresChicMama thanks ❤️! You too!! Oh no I'll be going again in December, so I thought we were just mayyybe gonna bumo into each other.. but regardless I wish you nothing but blessings and fun on your trip with your baby girl 💕💕💕💕
Love all the Disney things. Our first trip is in Jan! Can't wait to take our 2.5 year old, too. I have already bought books, and toys on clearance at Walmart for his souvenir. Lol
Good that you differentiated between what your friend will cover in her vlog and what you are sharing. It seems like you were thorough and gave people really good tips for saving themselves time and money. Excellent service presented clearly to your viewers. I am majorly not a Disney fan (I have been to both and have friends who've worked there long term.) for any human who isn't between the ages of about 7 to 10 years and feels compelled to go to keep up with their chums, the Joneses. But I must say you have done a wonderful job here and are to be commended for how pertinent you made your vlog.
@@TresChicMama I love local fairs and festivals and things that are really geared to the attention span and endurance levels of small children and often their grandparents. I've watched little ones be frightened, get sick, meltdown, or just cry because they want to sleep, and still get dragged around the parks not designed for tender ages or conditions. But I just find Disney aggressive, money-grubbing pushers of an unhealthy version of life wherein every fairytale or folktale is sanitized in a way that is not considered to be healthy for children, while the originals were because they dealt with actual fears of children. "The Uses of Enchantment" and other literature and psychology research express the reasons why oldtimey fairytales and folktales were written as they were. Sydney has a lot of sticktoitiveness and I do not believe that you will drag her around when she's done for just because the cost of the entire enterprise requires that you milk it to death. I am looking forward to your vlogs from the parks and hope it's a break you all need.
Loved this video so much. Don’t know when we will be going to Disney world. We live in Cali, Disneyland is about an hour away. ☺️ so of these tips are useful for this park too.
If you have room in your budget you might want to uber to the Disney character warehouse it’s in an outlet mall and you can get park souvenirs for pennies on the dollar... plenty of you tubers do weekly store sweeps so u can see what they have... also if you didn’t want to waste $ on renting a stroller you could just fly your own down there it’s free with your airfare same as carseats
Having an iPad on the airplane ride we took with our at the time 15 month old literally saved us. It was a 6 hr flights and snacks and cartoons were how we survived lol
Hey love the video we didnt have a problem with wifi except for being on some rides they are spotty areas but it was great never done grocery thing and love staying at the all the all stars you can cheap breakfast at the food court at the resort just have drinks snacks sent and you can take a cooler in the park as well and get ya a cup of ice and take your own 20 ounces since you have stroller and such hope you had a magical trip ...
We have 5 days til our trip to WDW. My son will turn 13 there and it is his first time. We are definitely taking his kindle fire on the plane. Thanks for the tip.
I've waited all morning for this! Unfortunately, my dinsey trip in November has been postponed until March. ( for my little girls 3rd bday!) But this only gives me more days to plan!! 😁
If you have free dining at a value you get quick service but you can to upgrade. I did it a few yrs ago and upgraded for less than 150. I also paid for two additional park tickets (I had the hotel those day already just didnt originally plan park for fly in and out days )since at the number of day I already had planned it was only 20 more. I got 2 table service 2 quick service and 2 snacks for that 20 dollars. May not be a good idea for a big group but it was just me.
We are 1 year away!!! We saved money by using an airbnb for our 9 person group, and because we are military we are using tickets purchased through the commissary, which saves us about 120 dollars for 3 day tickets. Ebay is my friend for souvenirs
Look In RUclips for recent video of Disney character warehouse . People actually shop for others that don’t live in the Orlando area and they walk in the store showing you the merchandise and prices
I miss Disney. I live in California and had an annual pass to Disneyland in 2013. Since I have had it the price has gone from like $400 a year to around $1,000. It's insane how much it raised in a short time
I believe if you book online through Disney it’s all like that. You have to put (as of ‘19) $200 down and then have to have it paid in full 30 days before you go 😄
I love these tips. I wish our trip wasn’t 6 years away 😭 lol I wish we could go now but I’m so excited anyways 😍 I hope I remember to come back and watch closer to 2025! Lol we went in 2014 and didn’t plan at all...got to the parks around 11am because we stayed over an hour away 🤦🏻♀️ NEVER AGAIN. We will be staying at one of the value resorts.
