Fishing kayak boat loader - home made - single person

Since the Yakima Jetstreams roof rails do not offer a boat loader rod option, I decided to create similar support mechanism using available resources.
The JetStreams are about 3 inches wide, which was perfect for the 3" pvc pipe. I cut it down to 30" in length, and plan to put a sock over it. I have tested the loader with my fishing kayak over half a dozen times, it works smoothly. For my Jackson Bite kayak, I had to elevate the hull until the v-cut is over the boat loader bar, otherwise it would sway toward the middle of the truck.
