Hats off to that WDM3A from Vatva shed which is still doing its duty under the wires with very less support on the route. I traveled on this train six and half months ago from Ahmedabad to Abu road. I was not expecting an ALCO with this train at the boarding time. But when I saw an ALCo, I considered myself extremely lucky as a diesel railfan. The combination of chugging ALCO + rhythmic ICF track sound is ultimate. By the way, can anyone kindly share an update on the electrification work on the Marwar - Jodhpur section via Luni and further up to Bikaner and Batinda ???

though I really dislike it when the WDM3 series are connected with the long hood in front. It is really a hindrance for the loco pilot to drive the loco in this mode.
there are almost zero reversers present all over the rail network despite the rampant usage of WDM3 series of Locos for decades.
now WDM4D series has removed the need for reversers but enough wdm3 series of locs are still in use so absense of loco reversers still remains a sore point for me that railways never though it worthwhile to install / use loco reversers at prime locations :(

9:50 wo line se via diyodar, deesa hote hue palanpur junction pe aake milti he, aur kutchh ke ran se mithapur hote hue line ati he aur uspe freight trains jyada chalti he, if i am not wrong
