- Hey all, in today's video, we disembark our Royal Caribbean Ship, Quantum of the Seas, to board a smaller boat called The Glacier Explorer. About 250 passengers (out of the 4,800 passengers) boarded this smaller vessel while out at sea in the gorgeous Endicott Arm and traveled further into the fjord towards the glacier. We got within 25 feet of the glacier on the smaller boat and got to experience calving and see sea lions, whales, and tons of waterfalls. It was an unforgettable experience that should be on everyone bucket-list.

@@TravelingTrio yes August 19th thru the 26th it is a dream vacation for my wife who just found out that she has stage 4 liver cancer and is non transplantable being hormone based. She was two maybe three years left so I am trying to fulfill her dream cruise

Hi Elena! This excursion started at approximately 800 am , we had to wait a bit as the tender approached and it lasted about 6 hours maybe a little over 6- we were back on the ship by 230pm!
