Outstanding job and congrats to you both on the prep, bodywork and paintjob! The small spots where you see texture you can do by hand but I don't think it would be seen once it's dressed up with trim and accessories. Doing the job and getting it done right, much respect to you guys!
Yes. Well said. Thats my approach as well. Right now the car is bare bones. Front and center on a rotisserie. You throw in some chromed moldings. Shiney glass. Wheels. Interior. Etc...i think paint and buff is easy part. Its assembly without damage that takes time and patience. Thanks for watched. Stay tuned for more.
Another great tutitorial from Lone star. I will be referring to this when my car is painted. You keep this up and you're gonna need a booth! We just put one on our home shop. Don't know what we did without it!
@@lonestarlows we took a 20x30 carport with 9' side walls and spray foamed it. Right up against our shop. Concrete floor and center drain. Has entry from shop and 8x8 hinged doors on gable of car port to outside. We have 25 led 4' vapor tight strip lights at about 7500 lumens each. Lighting is perfect. Gable exhaust fan and filtered intake on shop side. Cross flow style. Lighting I thought might be too much but worked out great. Look up 1000bulbs.com they have great deals on lighting. Hope this helps some😁
@@JamesSmith-oe1ot man james thats exactly what i was thinking. I was thinking about 20 long 16 wide. Aluminun frame carport. With spray foam. Maybe a window unit air conditioning
You can go with galvanized frame I think they use 2 1/2" 12 gauge tubing . Be a lot cheaper. Window unit sounds good idea.......but then thats where you will be drinking all your beer! I got cheap white gloss paint at Lowe's and let er rip on the foam. Of course use closed cell foam then you can hose it down. Good luck. Let me know if I can help with anything in your planning.
can i do this process on an older paint job? my 64 was painted about 8 yrs ago and still looks good just wondering if i did this it would bring some more life out of it
@@stephenmaurer2529 gotta stay focused and everything will fall into place. I got my first 64 when i was 19. 20 yrs later i would have never dreamed i could paint one.
Nice job as always I enjoy watching you make progress on each project you need to set up a Amazon account where people can buy the products you use buy clicking a link and you can get a kick back for making videos
Depending on body work and condition of car. Disassembly. Etc. I would probably say start at 5 or 6. I really dont do this for a living. I have a full time job. But i do eventually want to have some supplement income.

Shop line euro. (Ppg economy line)
Beautiful work buddie, do you mind me asking how much you'd charge for a paint job like this? (Same color)

People need to understand how long that process takes
Spraying the paint is about 10% of the total work invovled.
