I tried the regular can version of this. Not any better.
Not sure if you have tried this one yet but the Savory Pot Roast chunky soup is probably the best one they have. Sirloin burger with vegetables isn't bad either but with that one i always put it over mashed potatoes for a little extra.

Libby's once put pizza in a can as a spread. Now that concoction of tomato sauce, gooey cheese, and a few slices of pepperoni was the only thing that I would put on sliced bread. The toaster oven became the first appliance I mastered as a kid. Coating three pieces of toast was the most the little can could decently cover. In seven to eight minutes I had the tastiest snack to watch cartoons.
Where is this product now? thank you marketing people at Libby's for placing it in discontinued heaven.

Campbell's soup is just awful awful. The only thing they do right are their tomato soups. Tomato, Bisque, Tomato Rice, etc. The rest of them taste like cardboard and use the animal grade leftovers from cutting vegetables for the better brands.
Bean with bacon is pretty decent, but like them all, a sodium nightmare.
I do not buy canned soups, but I was under the impression that Campbell's was a classic and relatively good brand, as canned soups go?
Campbell's is, but it is still canned food, with all the baggage that comes with canned food. They tried to market a brand of "healthy choice", but the taste is even more dreadful without all the salt that our taste buds have become accustomed to.
I love heinz tomato but i get a heinz lentil and mix them together, tomato and lentil is really nice.
It's actually pretty awful quality in reality. Anyone who thinks it's even standard quality is lying to themselves or hasn't had real soup. Nearly every other brand is better. I think it's partly to do with being condensed, and partly that they use the cheapest parts of meat/vegetables for their soups. Their cream of broccoli for example just contains extremely fiberous and chewy stems. Really unacceptable unless you're starving and have no other option.

I wonder if you can do a review on high end canned soups such as Baxters or BarHarbor. The Bar Harbor Lobster Bisque looks interesting on Amazon although you have to purchase a case of 6 cans. Matter of fact all the Bar Harbor canned soups, etc. look mighty tasty and no crap in them.

Funnily enough growing up here in the ''ghettos'' we ate pizza soup, a can of cheese soup (actually a thing) a can of tomato soup, onion garlic other seasonings and ground beef, some celery just for the texture a can of diced tomatoes pasta if you got..water obviously, and boom, tastes good

The Campbell sirloin burger chunky is pretty good once you dress it up a little bit. Oh and the Cajun gumbo is the best canned gumbo out there. Take it from a Cajun.
I like campells hungryman canned soups and they only need about 3 minutes in the nuke...my moms dad got the Campbell's contract for plumbing when they built the Camden NJ plant and they remained a customer until the plant closed.... it wasn't soup per say but when I had my jaws wired I found you can put almost any food in a blender...pepperoni pizza and coke smoothie.. burrito smoothie, big Mac and whopper smoothies actually taste different...don't forget the fries....

I like a lot of the Campbell's Chunky canned stews - except for the salt. They all have about 4 times the salt needed for my taste buds.
I used to love their chicken corn chowder... Super salty, but loaded with hearty good sized pieces of chicken and potato. this truly looks like Poup... LOL and makes me wonder if the rest of their line have gone this direction.

Was wondering how spaetzle was pronounced never heard of it , my mother was german have you tried making Rouladen , made it for the first time last month after someone mentioned it , it was really nice must have been over 35 years since I last tasted it .

I think to get the full effect you should not eat it piece by piece but with a piece of each in one spoonful as the manufacturer intended it to be eaten so it would be a taste of meat ball a taste of pepperoni a taste of spetzle and then a spoonful of everything

I like the idea of a pizza soup, but if you were to make this from scratch on your own with fresh ingredients and a pasta of your choice (or something else to give that pizza crust feeling), what would you do?

I just found out the FDA allows you to label your food with the word meat of any variation as long as the product contains 0.50 % of actual meat that's like a drop of water in a bathtub!
Hey, Larry! love the review. Seemed timely, since I just finished my dinner of home made pizza. Including he crust. BURRRRRRP. AND a "few" cold ones to wash it down. So, now comes the rant. I'm not gonna name any names, BUT. Once upon a time, there was a local pizza parlour. A good one, a pioneer in this area. Legendary if you're in your 50's or 60's. Old guy that owned it decided to sell and retire. Got bought by corporate mega food giant. Seems like they didn't know shit about pizza, or the business. They started using the cheaper fixings, and people thought the pizza wasn't as good. Then, in order to stimulate business, they began printing 1/2 price coupons in the local paper. This worked just fine, but they overdid it and soon, nobody would go without a coupon. Must have made inventory and scheduling a nightmare. You can guess what happened from there....So, I trust you can make a good guess why the pizza soup was wonderful!

lol, yeap that soup really needs some more work, just looking at the description on the label prevents me from buying it. can't wait for the international canned cuisine special though. this is gonna be nothing compared to that lolz, the scale is gonna have to have some negative numbers added by then.
When I make Chunky soup, I usually put half of it on my rice of choice, and save the rest for later.
