While this cover is ranked right up there as far as I'm concerned they are a very very very close 2nd to the Voctave featuring Mark Lowry version. Mark Lowry is the writer of the song. If you've never seen this particular version you must check it out.

Beautiful song, made for these guys. Love the perfect harmonies of Home Free. The beginning of Tim is so beautiful. Someone once compared it to dark liquid chocolate, fantastic. It's also always fascinating how the guys can switch roles. Chance is great with his bass line. And Adam's beatboxing is out of this world.

I first heard it from Straight No Chaser, the live acoustic version they did in a church, and fell in love with it and them. My other favourite is by the Hound and the Fox, a much more stripped down version with them and piano - all three are beautiful performances and all very different.
This is off the subject but in Canada, Thanksgiving is in October - I've never really understood why the U.S. has it in November. I can't imagine (unless the climate was a helluva lot different in New England in November) anyone harvesting in November . . . I love Home Free's version of this song! I have. Voctave has been a group I've been interested in since well before I started this channel. And I'm a fan of Mark Lowery as a writer and Comedian first and foremost.
