I agree this bike has the potential to be better. Put in the newer 550 engine with the 270 crank (it sounds good with an aftermarket pipe) and improve the rear design as you said and it would be a substantial improvement. Put on on the single sided swing arm QJ uses on the GS550 and it would be a lot better. They have all the parts to make it happen.
Honestly I thought it would be way worse than it turned out to be, given that it’s a relatively old bike, in 2019 it was pretty much the best Chinese cruiser, but it’s a bit obsolete now, and if Benelli/QJMotor could implement what you have mentioned, it would be a great bike indeed, I’m a big fan of Ducati Diavel’s design, but the price bites a lot😅, o really hope to see a restyled version of 502c, recently Benelli was rather quite compared to other brands
I am late for this comment as I've only found out your channel from the Voom 500 and Kove video hehe. Very nice review btw for the 502c. check out mine, I replaced the rear tire to 180, I had the 190 Pirelli Rosso 3 but it worn out pretty quickly and I had a flat. And also I installed the diavel headlight, LOL
@@eddywave3315 The managed to keep the GS550 at 42,000 out the door price with a sticker price of 36,000, but they may also be pushing their V4 cruiser that is a similar price. This would be a cool offering from Beneli that would be a little different.
@@evanmcknight2566 Their price policy is quite nice, I feel bad about not reviewing more Benelli on this channel, I’m quite interested in new 552 bike from them
Normally i would not touch anything madein China. I live there long enough and found most workers need constant oversight to keep quality control etc. I think from what i read that the Italians check them again in italy but i could be wrong. If china made them with little Italuan influence i would not touch one. Actually the Chinese can make good stuff ," only when they want to." The normal business model is making a lot of mediocre/poor, selling cheap. Any way if it has fork caps to service forks than you can adust it the old way. Grade of fork oil, amount of fork oil, different springs and spacers. All is not lost and its not difficult to do. Can even add a schradder valve into the fork cap and adjust air pressure. I am about to purchase a brand new 23 model and it is $3,000 off the normal price. The used ones are dearer so i am buying new for less than 2nd hand. Not a great bike but at this price with usd forks , twin front disc abs . A bargain. The truth is that is why i am buying it. It is cheap. Although 750cc would have been excellent. Years ago i had a Norton 850 with the 360 crank. I dont mind them the set up. With good pipes that configuration makes a ' crack' when getting on it.
Well they are different! Personally I think Benelli is more aggressive and feels torquer, CLC was more maneuverable, and sounded better! Obviously the design is up to you! Tank is bigger on 502c as well. Rationally I would pick CLC
thanks for your advice. I'm based in Australia where CLC just been launched not long ago. had a look of the real bike in a dealer but they haven't got a demo for test ride. I have a 450Sr but more prefer the riding position and engine sound of benelli, now consider changing to either 502c or CLC. tried on 502c once felt lots of vibration from the foot pegs, this should be less on the CLC, will try once they got one in. also bit jerky on the SR on low speed when open and close the throttle.
wow 10000rmb second hand for this bike. I live in Shenzhen but can not gind any Benelli dealerships in this area. Could you maybe say where i will be able to buy this bike secondhand?

nice video bro... my hello from Sikkim North east India. I also own 502c and i am doing every thing i can to make it look better from rear. I have shifted the Registration plate at the top side but don't know what where to put the rear indicators coz i want to get rid of the rear mud guard.
@@hassaanshoaib7980 there is this relatively new cruiser from cfmoto CLC450 (review is on this channel) it has 270 degree crank, but the style is different, it looks way more classic, and the gas tank is very small, especially compared to this Benelli, but it’s more maneuverable, and much cheaper (27000 rnb brand new) but second hand market wise Benelli will be even cheaper) Hope It helped. @@hassaanshoaib7980 One thing you can’t get with CLC450 is Benelis design! If you like it you will not regret getting it over clc450, it’s still fast, fun, and good looking! I think CLC450 might be a bit faster 0-100 acceleration, but it would be nice to check by myself 🤜🤛

It does look great when you ride
Great content, one of the few testing a lot of ""new"" chinese bikes, can you test the Benelli 752 S?

If it had a long bench seat it would be much better for a pillion
Yes for sure, but most likely it wouldn’t look as good

For a "muscle" cruiser it sounds absolutely terrible, sounds like a scooter. Even with an exhaust the 360° crank just isn't working for it imo.
It doesn’t sound bad if you don’t listen to the competition 😂 but comparing with Cfmoto’s 270 degree crank it does sound lame
