You have done one of the BEST reviews/tests of lightbpads I've seen. Most people spend 2 minutes showing them unpacking the box and then 2 minutes of them drawing on a piece of what looks like typing paper.

This may seem odd and out of the blue but thanks SO much for reviewing and recommending this, I bought one myself and it has given me a dramatic boost in quality in my art work and I actually enjoy sketching more now that I don't have to worry about my pencils or linework getting so heavy they don't erase properly or get damaged by too much erasing (hope that makes sense lol)

I love Huion! I purchased a drawing display tablet (KAMVAS GT-191) from them months ago and I havent had any issues! Love Huion!
Shoto Todoroki it's a really good one! I did a bunch of research before purchasing, it's nice if you don't rely on hot keys. It's also a really good quality tablet. The top sometimes gets a little warm after using for a few hours, but it's nothing that'll stop you from working. It's a comfortable temperature.
I just ordered one of their display tablet! I'm so excited huion is amazing. Their products are high quality and very well priced. And I love that they send out their product to people to review. So I had tons of info to figure out what type of tablet to buy. Also I love your videos your one of the few people in my subs that I see a new video and stop whatever I'm doing to watch it

Cool. I have the A4 size of that lightbox/pad. I love it, it's thin and the light adjusts to the brightness I needed. Best of all, I can use the plug to charge my phone and plug in my drawing tablet

Hey! Thought I’d just throw something out there that would hopefully be helpful! I noticed in one of your old videos that you cut your screentones with a blade that was more triangular/pointy, but from personal experience the blades that are shaped like an angled make-up brush are far, faaaar easier to cut with, and more gentle on the page. Also, to avoid ruining your screentones, always cover them with a piece of paper before you rub them down! Just some things I hope will help, I don’t know if you still work the same way as a couple years ago, or maybe that’s how you like to work, just thought I’d add something that I found helped me personally! Keep up the good work :)

Omg I have the same type, mine isn't as large, but I love it soooooo much. I can't stand extra graphite under my paintings or comic pages so I transfer everything. It's the best thing I could have done for myself lol

Omg I'm so happy you were able to find a really good, large lightpad!! I recently finally got to buy one myself in January only mine was one of those no name brands and is like a lil bigger than the canson watercolor paper I use. It's SO bright though and blew my MIND. Mine only cost about 20 bucks off Amazon too! I was floored! LightPads are such lil blessings! LOL

i got a light pad and it came with a US plug which i live in Australia but it was USB so it was fine.
I bought a Huion A3 Light Pad last year and like 2 months after that I got a call asking me if I liked the product I bought (which I replied yes) and if I wanted to buy a protection for it... I was like, gurl, this is a light pad not a tablet !
WTF?! 😂😂😂 GURL!! What was that about?! I mean, thanks HUION for taking our art and products seriously, but insurance is not needed LOL

No dear :) This is a lightpad-- it has nothing to do with digital art and is a tool for tracing our sketches onto different paper so we can create the final draft of our illustrations ♡ I explained all of the features of this product st the start of the video ;)

Oh!💖 It came with a protective foamy envelope and that’s what I store it in☺️ I lay it nicely on a little shelve attached to the bottom of my desk. It’s a little large but since I use it everyday for work (in my manga) having it beside my desk just makes sense for me💖

I got that too, but since digital painting is so convinient I didn't use it much yet.
Works bristol paper with alcohol markers like copics? I'm still not completely happy with the paper I use the moment (it's from deleter).
I'm not a fan of DELETER paper :/ I recommend using Strathmore or Canson

I don't like about the deleter paper that it is still a bit too rough for my taste (sometimes my nib gets caught) and the ink sometimes bleeds a little. I find the photo-blue lines very helpful for planning things out though.

I have a question. I have a character with a few yellow freckles that correspond with their darker freckles. The other freckles blend a bit with their skin tone which looks okay. However, the yellow freckles blend as well and turns into a darker yellow. I want the yellow to pop and shine but it always blends and becomes alot darker. I would like it to sit on top instead and stay it's original color. Do you have any strategies to prevent this or materials to recommend?
I'd say use paint for freckles :)

What are light pads used for?
Oh! They're very useful!😁 you can make a rough sketch one one paper and then transfer/trace it onto quality paper, creating a neater, final line art 💕

I can't afford a light box. So I took a huge transparent storage container and lighting a giant flashlight inside it to make one 😂
LOL Like I said in the video, my dad made me one XD I love it even still but I'm glad I have a new, bigger one ♡
