Hello Kingroon support. I have emailed you but I am posting this for the benefit of other people that may have the same issue: On Kingroon KP3S with STM32F103 chip I have added BLTouch V3.1. I followed the instructions, wired it correctly, flashed the firmware. When printer is powered on Bltouch does its probe check just fine. It goes up and down 3 times. But, when I hit auto leveling button it does not extend the probe. I can hear Z switch clicking as it homes, and Bltouch probe is still retracted. What could be causing this? Does Z switch causing the issue? Should Z switch still be connected? Or, is it something else?
Do you have any 3D Touch? If you do please try with it. Please also ask the seller, see if it works in 5V. According to the video, your BL Touch is under voltage.
@@Kingroon3DOfficial I have Bltouch, not 3d touch. How do I make it work on 5v? I know that my bltouch does work on other printer with 5v. Is there some other setting that I can try or is this re-cabling issue??
@@Kingroon3DOfficial I tried flipping the 3 pin plug but the result is the same. My connections are correct. I am guessing that there is maybe something in firmware that needs to be changed. That sounds weird, we double checked that link but found no such issue. Please try change your internet or use a VPN. If still not work, please send an email to support@kingroon.com. Thanks!
That's a ridiculous and cumbersome way of setting your z offset. Has anyone got marlin or Klipper working on this thing? Its mostly a good design for the price accept for the lack of a belt tensioner on X and y. I would probably buy a couple printers is it had belt tensioner. Klipper could be figured out I guess.
You are now watching the old video. Please check the video we posted last Sunday, new firmware has already released with the Z offset wizard. Marlin, Klipper and auto bed leveling is only for extension of the printer. They are not the features everyone needs. And for stability concerns, we currently not add them as default. It’s not a good way to raise the prices for adding features. But we definitely will make tutorials on those features, let our customers to decide to use them or not, and add some new features as default in our future models. The feature we add must be stable enough. Thanks!
Ok so what's the point of it all. It does not auto level, it just gives a user more problems. Instead of calibrating the bed level once with a sheet of paper, a user also has to calibrate the auto-leveling tool with such a quirky way, nice logic. LOL. It dose not move the bed it does nothing useful but adding additional steps to the default manual calibration.
You haven't noticed that you are watching an earlier tutorial with old version firmware, have you? The current ABL sensors are not so powerful as you thought, that's why I recommend a basic manual level first. Anyway, this tutorial and firmware is going to be updated to the third version. If you need to try that feature out, please find the second version first.
I put a 3d touch on kingroon kp3s. The nozzle was too close to the table. I started adjusting the height by changing the value as shown in the video. I put the value 50 at the end, but nothing helped. What to do in such a situation?

máy in của tôi lúc bắt đầu autolevel cũng bị ngược trục x k thể level được, bạn đã làm cách nào để xử lí nó vậy?
Does anybody else have a problem when after selecting auto leveling printer just go to 0, and then to the center of the bed and doesn't move or use 3D touch? 3D touch is moving after you turn the printer on, so it definetely work.
Same here. I tried different firmware from different people, different tutorials, and different cable configurations. I even installed Klipper on the printer with no luck. 😢 So, please let me know if you found any fix.
@ I don’t know what you already tried, but try to check if your pinout is correct. Because mine 3D Touch had a + and - swapped in the 3-pin cable. It didn’t help me anyway, but maybe in your case this is what cause problems. And people in KP3S group chat also told me to check if i’ve connected everything properly.
does anyone have profile for kingroon KP3S for either Cura, Simplify3d and/or Prusa slicer?
в куре уже есть профиль
è possibile installare il sensore sulla KP3 oppure sulla KP5L ?
KP5L is no problem and we will release the firmware for it. But KP3 may not be OK to use it. We will let people know the results if we run any tests on it.
Help me please. I connected bl touch according to the instructions, when turned on, the stem extends up and down and lights up red. when i press auto level it retracts the stem, lights up red, goes to autolevlel but the stem does not extend! and nothing happens when it closes.
Please send us an email with the video, we will check it and find the problem out. Please make sure the video shows all the operating you make. Our email address is support@kingroon.com And you can add”For Frank” in the subject. My coworker will let me know in the first time.

@@vladimirkrivosheev3920 Hi, I have a question. What’s the version of your BLtouch? A product link would be helpful, thanks!
@@Kingroon3DOfficial this is bltouch v3 from trinaglelabs link sent to email
can you add one to the KP3?
We will let the technical team know, see if they can make one. Since KP3 are different from KP3S on mainboard, it would be another project. Before that, we suggest you try Marlin firmware, it should work. Hope my answer helps you well. Happy 3D printing.
I followed all the instructions and it broke my printer. It will not auto level. It tries to move as far right as possible and the stepper motor will grind. I installed original firmware and it will not do manual bed level now. The printer will not go to the correct location of all 5 bed leveling points, it will just go to the wrong location, and the motor will grind. I sent you a video on facebook messenger. My printer is now bricked.
Try unplugging the 3d touch sensor, I have the same problem, the program flashes correctly, but when I hit the auto-level the printer maxes out on the x axis an the motor binds. What I do to return to the original configuration with manual leveling is to unplug the sensor and reboot the printer.
@Gustavo Martinez I honestly got fed up with their unprofessional customer support, and no response from their support email. I sent the machine back. I'm buying a prusa mini instead.
Same thing right now:( Did you manage to fix it?
Hi!
Have you found a soluce for this problem. i have the same thing with my KPS3 pro😞
OMG THIS DOESNT WORK.. How are you guys selling both your printers and 3d touch and don't support people when it comes to installing it. I just bought the printer from you and Im about to throw it out the F**&&&ING window..... I FOLLOWED YOUR STEPS EXACTLY... I EMAILED YOU.. I POSTED COMMENTS ON YOUR PAGE... AND IM NOT GETTING ANY RESPONSES...... Please do an updated video or address peoples problems.. because I am seeing that most comments of people having issues are the exact same as mine and you guys dont seem to care at all
7:53 my printer did not reboot
Then it’s high likely that your printer is using the 407 chip and not compatible with the firmware. Please download the stock firmware and flash it back: drive.google.com/file/d/1L0blIRQVKSnWLjHYZfrcu6rVo_yLhVFZ/view?usp=sharing
@@Kingroon3DOfficial how do I do that
@@Randomperson0467 Just download the file, unzip it, then copy all the files in the folder to your SD card, then put the SD Card into the printer and reboot it.
@@Kingroon3DOfficial ok
저 3d 케이스는 어디서 구할수 있나요?
It’s is in the firmware files. Link is the description.
Hello Kingroon support. I have emailed you but I am posting this for the benefit of other people that may have the same issue:
On Kingroon KP3S with STM32F103 chip I have added BLTouch V3.1.
@@zeeman2594 Please try turning the three pin cable 180 degrees then connect to the port, see if the red light turns off.
@@Kingroon3DOfficial I tried flipping the 3 pin plug but the result is the same. My connections are correct. I am guessing that there is maybe something in firmware that needs to be changed. Maybe the config file/firmware has to issue a signal to deploy the probe? I am willing to try out the beta firmware, if you want me to test it out.
@@zeeman2594 Thanks for your reply! We will let the engineer know and see what to do next.
the drive wont let me download

Thanks!
ну все на соплях )))
я просто в ахуе сейчас) прикрутил на kp3s pro, нихуя не работает, инфы никакой нет... принтер мечта просто
