Despite being a "Smaller" guy for the time.

Honestly Sandman is probably one of the closest wrestling has got to a real street fighter. Just a guy who smokes and drinks and then beats the hell out of any dude who messes with him. His messy style and overall aura probably puts Sandman at one of my favorites of all time, plus an absolute metal theme, so that helps.

I went to. Ecw show before it closed down. This was the most badass entrance I have ever seen. The crowd went crazy I almost lost my voice from yelling.
I remember his run in WWE from 2006-2007 on ECW and Raw brand it was odd seeing him not use weapons unless on specific occasions he couldn't work without them which was the problem with sandman they couldn't write him right I would book him in Hardcore matches even a hell in a cell match would work because he could still use weapons.

I actually think Sandman was a decent wrestler in the ring. He could do a lot of moves and tell a story when kicking ass or being beat up. Obviously rough around the edges and lacking grace but that fit his style.
