Yes it has ginger smell. Also it is mentioned in the specifications from where I purchased.

4-5 hours minimum chal jata h but isse bhi jada chal jata h bro

You can apply it on your body if you want. But i would recommend to use on clothes, as it's a perfume.

It has very poor performance. For me it hardly lasts on skin for 1.5 hr and 3h on clothes. I am getting a projection of only half hour. Also, the smell is more synthetic side.
At least you should spray 10 times
