For God's sake I absolutely agree. Every time you click on a RUclips demo Of a guitar you'd like to hear. The player is always shredding. It's like give me a break and play with some clean finesse so I can hear the guitar.
I have recently got the pink strat ,the photos don't do it justice the roasted neck is stunning, on the whole the guitar looks and plays great . It's a steal at that price.
i love the jaguar but, it bugs me they didn't keep it all flamed maple fret+fretboard... that tele slightly reminds me of the twles with Lace Sensor pickups
I went to the guitar store and played all of these with no idea of which one I wanted and ended up with the pink hh strat. it's beautiful in real life and plays amazingly well also the way the selector is set up with the coil splitting is really neat.
I got the Jaguar just the other day and I’m absolutely in love with it. An amazing guitar with a great look but more importantly a great feel and the pickups are amazing for the price
Never mind kids getting their 1st guitar. I'm 44, own 4 other guitars including a Mike Lipe Custom, two different PRS SE range models and a Yamaha. I've still ordered one of these Telecasters in white as they just look fabulous and at that price you really can't go far wrong.
Finally getting around to getting the strat with the 3 angled single coil pickups. To me it seems to combine tones from a strat, tele, and a pseudo humbucker with the series wiring of the bridge and middle pickup. Really excited to put it though its paces.
I just got the same Tele yesterday. Couldn’t put it down last night. Took me a little bit of playing to get used to the jumbo frets. The neck is nicer than my vintera Tele
@@diddymies yeah still feels like a Tele except for the switch and pots being the other way around. As for the sound, the pickups get distorted quite easily even on clean channel. Have to roll volume back a bit on the guitar to get more of that Tele twang
@@diddymies no neck dive at all. It is slightly heavier than my Mexican Tele but not overly heavy. I’d say these are on par with the classic vibe series
Love the flame in that pink pearl strat neck! It's difficult, but I've actually found nice flame in a Squier 60s strat I got for my son. It's rare though and these demos might give false hope. Cool guitars nonetheless!
Too funny. Pre-ordered the sunset metallic strat but the gunmetal metallic tele kept calling my name so canceled the strat and ordered the tele instead.
I really want the Jaguar but it makes more sense for me to get that special strat I already have too many guitar with him buckers. This lineup is a guitar budget dream
I really like how on the first strat they moved the middle pup up and out of the way. My personal major complaint about SSS or 3 pup style guitars, the damn middle pup is in the way when picking!
I don't think that is why they did it. First position is bridge and middle in series, essentially a humbucker, sounds better the closer they are together in series, the further apart they will sound muddy.
I bought that Black Strat with the anodised pick guard for my very first guitar at the age of 30. Really hoping I like playing it. A friend gave me a bullet strat for a lend until my guitar came but its really buzzy coming through the amp and even when unplugged and my finger placement is perfect the thick E string always buzzes. It's very annoying and off putting.
String buzz could just mean the guitar needs a decent setup. Amp noise can come from the single coils especially the cheaper guitars that have no shielding inside the cavities
@@KC-yi1td yeah I haven't a clue what I'm doing, just a beginner. Lol. My amp is a Roland Micro cube, also before my mate gave me the guitar he sent it in to a music shop to a friend of his and got it set up. I just think it's not a great guitar. Now don't get me wrong, I loved playing it and learning on it and it does the job but I have the financial means to get a bit better guitar.
Great video. All the new Squiers look and sound awesome. I've wanted the Telecaster RH in white ever since these were announced. I'm not so sure now, after watching this. I think it looks fantastic in gunmetal ... the pictures on the Fender website don't do it justice 😊
@@KC-yi1td Cool. That's awesome. Hope you are enjoying playing it 😊 Can't wait to try them out when music stores reopen. Does the white one have a sparkly finish, or is it it flat white? Flat would be my preference. That might sway my decision.
Hey guys, got the same trem on my Squier Jazzmaster Deluxe, you might wanna order a bridge with rolling saddles (same for the string tree) because the stock tune o matic kinda ruins the tuning stability. Maybe you already thought of that but I'd you didn't, keep that in mind 😉

You need to shim the neck. It works two-fold... Get the neck up sontounjwve to raise the bridge. This means you'll get lower action and better tuning stability. The tension over the bridge will increase and the guitar will just work better.
I don't think you'll have a problem with these Contemporary Jaguars. With the Classic Vibe Jags you would have to shim the neck because of the floating tremolo system. These contemporary jags are hard tailed and it looks like they have tuneomatic bridges so they should be super easy to setup just the way you like it
Jacksons are a deal killer for me due to their necks/fretboard. Too wide, frets are too spaced... pain in the ass floyd rose units on them too. One was enough for me, got rid of it.

I don't understand why so many demos are always with distortion. I think the true tone test is when a guitar is played clean.

You should tune your Floyd rose before demoing a demonstration..
This and play something closer to the sort of style the guitar is intended on e.g. 80s stadium rock/metal
fender still dislikes left handed players.

Another thing about demos, clean tones and you know if our budget on a guitar is 500 then why do demo in expensive pedals and monitors...
